The Women of the Soaring Eagle Ranch

Much has been written, and appropriately so, about the tenacity of the American cowboys as they tamed the Wild West. But the women who helped settle The West are often overlooked. The women of this era and this location had to be amazingly tough, resilient, multi-talented, gritty, courageous, strong, intelligent, determined, brave and so much more. They were a tenacious bunch, but were still mothers, sisters and daughters who were compassionate, sensitive, caring, kindhearted, and loving. The women of the Soaring Eagle Ranch and their friends show just how tough they can be while on a mission of mercy; delivering supplies to an organization on the San Carlos Indian Reservation in the 1880s. Riding horses and driving buckboard wagons loaded with supplies, their four-day journey is filled with unimagined dangers and threats, along with profound life-changing events.
