David Tennant is an AMAZING performer!

The book is great, but David Tennant brings it to life with such creativity and stellar voice acting, that calling him a “narrator” is the understatement of the century! I’m not being hyperbolic. He brings such a uniqueness to the story, each characters voice, and personality, that I honestly forgot it was just one person reading (more like performing). It’s *chef’s kiss” PERFECTION! I really hope the next book comes out soon on audible because I can’t wait!

Funny and Scary and Perfect for ALL!

This is a review that encompasses the first 3 books in the series. Terrific engaging story perfectly read by David Tennant who's sometimes over-the-top acting could not be better suited. I marvel at his varied voices and particularly fell in love with Squeezejuice and I bet I'm not alone in that. I do not normally burn credits on books less than 12 hours long and I have purchased all of this series. Now I am both anxious and thrilled to move on to the last(?). Highly recommend for lovers of fairytales of ALL ages.

Can't get enough!

We LOVE this series. It's been a lifesaver for my 8 year old when (alas) mean mom makes him get off screens. Great performance by David Tenet and story entertaining for adults too. Can't wait for next book!

Engaging use of language & Narrator is spot on

This series is such a fun adventure! I can’t wait to see what the next adventure and mishaps Xar, Wish & Bodkin get into next! The author’s creative use of language just makes this whole series come alive in my mind’s eye! I also love the message of the power of friendship, forgiveness, second chances and empathy! Great book series!

Anyone can be a hero

We loved that as Bodkin was about to overcome and be a hero! We are just flying through this book series. We cannot put it down and are having so much fun together as a family. Who needs tv when there are books like this!?

This is why I gave this book 4 stars⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇

It was very good but I didn't like the knucklev. But over all the story was very nice I really liked Perdita And Wish.

IMO not as strong as the preceding book

While the story was entertaining, it seemed to only be a bridge between the previous novel and the upcoming novel. It didn’t seem to be a standalone novel and made me feel a little like the entire series was divided into four books (instead of three books) just to create more sales.
