The book picks up right at the end of the first book, and goes straight into a fast pace plot in which something is happening all the time.

Unlike the first this book is full of information leading to a much more engaging story.
Violet as a character matures in this book displaying a rounder more interesting personality, she is strong she is loyal and she is determined.

The first book I felt had good promise but did not follow through, as I was listening to this installment I felt as if the story is finally coming together, I can’t wait to see where the next book will take it.

I don't like lose ends and when I finished the first book in this series, I was happy to download this part of the story. I saw other's said they were rooting for the characters and I was as well. Amy Ewing has a great series going here. The narration was really good as well. Great series so far. Highly recommended.
