Good for inspiration

What did you love best about The Way of Saint Francis?

This book provides many inspiring insights using the life of St. Francis. It blends biography with meditations for changing one's daily life to reflect the compassion practiced by St. Francis.

What about Father Murray Bodo’s performance did you like?

Father Murray Bodo, tends to read very slowly, which takes some getting used to at first but his style becomes quite relaxing once you get into it.

Not what I expected

This was more of a meditation style book. Fr. Bodo did give a good bit of information on St. Francis, but the book seemed more about how to meditate on certain aspects of the qualities of St. Francis. It was geared more toward psychologists rather than the average person and focused on relaxing and imagining yourself in certain situations

Informative and entertaining story.

Father Murray speaks with compassion and great knowledge on Saint Francis, a wonderful human being. Father Murray's presentation is objective without being dogmatically religious. There are great teachings here to benefit anyone interested in a life of serving others with humility. I have heard this book many times over and find it a comforting and grounding way to quieten my mind in this busy world. Thank you Father Murray and thank you Saint Francis!
