There must be easier ways to heal and grow than walking 500 miles across Spain. But it’s hard to imagine one filled with more adventure, laughter, and excitement. The author sets off armed with idealistic expectations and a backpack. But then things quickly get real on the Camino, and she soon learns a thing or two about humility, vulnerability, and letting go.

This many-faceted journey forces her to confront her fears of walking alone in a foreign country. The luxury of time allows her to take a long, hard look at some of her cherished beliefs. Then ultimately, she makes a surprising discovery.

Thank you for taking me on your Camino. I really enjoyed your storytelling. I have been reading books about this Camino for years. Ironically, I read "Renee's" book right before I read yours. I recognized her immediately in your story! I find your friendship lovely and I want to do this Camino with the two of you...lol. Have either of you thought about organizing travel groups...

It was interesting to hear about the authors journey. It was hard to listen to the narration.

I have listened to a few other books about the Camino de Santiago and really enjoyed hearing this author’s experience. She seemed able to share her story in a way that gave me a sense of what it would actually be like to make the trip to Spain and go on this journey.

Good listen

Loved the way she makes you feel like you’re there with her. I plan to do the Camino with my husband on 2023, so it may be a different experience but this book helped me feel like I can do it and if I need to bus or taxi it’s not the end of the world. Thank you Angela.
