Quite Enjoyable!

Honestly, I had no idea this was the first book in a series. When I finished listening, I was disappointed that the "Walk" had barely started, but the story had taken a turn, and it really did wrap things up nicely. When searching for other books by Richard Paul Evans, I discovered this was Book 1 of 5!! I was very happy, because I was really enjoying the journey. I am currently finishing up Book 2, and have just purchased Book 3. I think that is probably the best recommendation there is! That, and talking about it with others--Done!!

I listened to this as an audible book while I worked on diamond painting. this series was one of my mothers favorites and she really loved this author. after listening I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series. I think of my mom as I listen and think that she is listening with me. beautiful story with many life lessons intertwined!

I have read this series three times now and continue to get more out of it each time. Truly a message of hope along all our paths, no matter how different they might be - and yet we all “sojourn and search for the meaning and hope in a vast, mysterious world.”

This book has saved lives and brought hope to both the dying and the living. Life is worth living. Read this series to find a hopeful reason why.

Excellent a Must Read

What a great book. It left me with a very nice feeling knowing we are all on our walk and have yet to meet all the people we are to meet. I cannot wait to read the next book.

Would you listen to The Walk again? Why?

I'm not sure that I will listen to this series again but I sure did enjoy it. It was so memorable that I will be able to recall many scenes without listening again.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The Main Character (am bad with names) and his father. The father had alot to offer but the MC learned that a bit late in life. Also loved the deceased wife's mother. She had great determination. And Angel who was definitely an angel.

Which character – as performed by Richard Paul Evans – was your favorite?

The guy who owned the apartment that Nicole (Angel) lived in.

If you could rename The Walk, what would you call it?

I wouldn't change anything.

I wish this series was just one big book. It was a great series and I would finish one and have to get on audible to buy the next. I really enjoyed this even though I'm not the biggest fan of the author. That is saying alot. This will be in my list of all time favorite books.

If you could sum up The Walk in three words, what would they be?

In the face of tragedy and not sure if he can go on he meets people in his life who he will influence and in turn be influenced. A must read!

It Touched My Soul

I can't even begin to tell you how good this is. It's a story of tragedy that holds so much wisdom. This is definitely a book I will listen to again. It certainly leaves you thinking......
