This work covers Darwin's part in the second survey expedition of the ship HMS Beagle. It is both a travel memoir and a scientific field journal of anthropological, biological, and geological interest. Darwin conveys his fascination with the natural world in an engaging writing style.

The cities in South America are Spanish and are not video games, this drove me crazy while listening. Interesting historic book.

Horrible pronunciation

I have to wonder if the narration is done by a computer, because of all the mispronounced words.Extremely distracting, and in some cases, takes a long time to realize that a "lazo" (emphasis on the o) is actually a lasso, the cowboy roping tool. .

While the narrator sounds American, I know of no dialect, regional accent, or biological inflection, which offers such abusive interpretations of the English language. He ruined this book for me.

Worst narration I've ever heard
