Omg this was amazing

I LOVE this series. The characters had so much growth in book 2. There was a little spice. I love the multiple POV and the narrator did an amazing job doing differentiating each person when it was there POV. The spice was good I do wish there was more but I can see what she is doing. Book one none book two about 2 on the spice scale and book three will hopefully be 3 which to me is the perfect amount of spice and plot. I can’t wait for the next book

So Refreshing

Just like the 1st book, this does not disappoint. Continuing the story line with twist and turns I do not see coming. I am so glad this book managed to surprise me. So many books out there have too much in the face foreshadowing with repetitive information but this book is so subtle. I LOVE IT! Different veiw points from characters I didn't realize would have view points were a treat! The growth of the characters and their relationships amongst eachother have been artfully written. The new characters introduced are something I didn't know I needed but now can not live without. I don't normally reread or listen to a book more than once but this one I will probably listen 2 to 3 more times because the story is that interesting. I really am impatiently waiting for the next book. Thank you!

The second book is great so much more. I love seeing the growth of the characters and the twists. The narrator did an excellent job.

Still Obsessed

M. A. Mccracken does not disappoint! I've finished the Vitue of Avarice, and am already reading book 3. I'm going to go through withdrawals when I've finished the trilogy. 10/10 would reccomend.

Just keeps getting better!

After Book 1, I couldn't wait to start Book 2, and it did not disappoint! Not only does the story continue but it builds (with some twists and turns). You also get to experience more growth and detail to the characters (from their own point of view!). The narrator is still so perfect for this series and I'm glad she continued reading for Book 2. It is so interesting to "watch" Elise grow in her power and mature in many ways, but only to then realize at the end that she still has a lot to learn. I am very much looking forward to Book 3!

I enjoyed the first book and just couldn’t wait for the second book and can’t wait for the third book I enjoy the magic and characters and can’t wait to find out how it all ends up you definitely won’t be disappointed

Love this story

This series has become one of my favorites. Great story with characters, you love and characters you love to hate. So excited for book 3.

Engaging and Captivating!

I am glad that this second book was already out when I read the first… the first book was awesome, but definitely left you at a cliffhanger.

This book quickly assuaged my curiosity and I found myself unable to stop listening until the end.

I love the authors ability to write from different perspectives. Each character evoked strong emotions in me. The dislike I felt for Alex sometimes made me not want to read his chapters!

Lots of wonderful twists and turns to keep you engaged and captivated throughout.

I highly recommend this book and series!
