NOT the same old story of the V card!!!

OK, so every reader knows the whole V card, virgin romance has been so over played. I’m saving myself for marriage, I need to fall in love or it needs to be so perfect and special; all of those ideas have all been written about, repeatedly. Boring.

Happily this story is none of those. It is simply a matter of a strong, independent, woman who is busy living life. Nadia isn’t some sweet, innocent who has been kept away from the real world. No, unfortunately for her, men are intimidated by her wealth and power. They want someone who needs to be taken care of. Which is so not her. She is fierce, smart, and can take care of herself thank you very much B.O.B.!

Crosby is her childhood friend who shares a lot of common interests. He is very open minded and accepting. He is also very confident in his masculinity, funny and just plain fun to be around.

They often have to attend the same gatherings since they are both a part of the sports world. Nadia is moving back home and Crosby is getting ready to take off to training camp. In order to keep himself from slipping in to his same old bad patterns he offers up an idea that they be each other’s plus one for all of their upcoming events. Easy peasy. Except nothing is ever as easy as it seems and the story that unfolds…sizzles!

Perfect narration, perfect casting!

The Virgin Rule Book is the first book in a new series, Rules of Love, by my favorite author, Lauren Blakely. I've read every word she's written and nothing makes me happier than when she starts a new series. This series is going to be epic! We're getting three sexy baseball players and the strong, independent women who they fall for. Nadia is Crosby's best friend's little sister. Crosby always had a little thing for her when they were younger, but she was young and he didn't think his best friend would like that. They've kept in touch over the years and now that she's moving back to town, he's excited to see more of her. But he just swore off women so there's no chance of anything real with her. When they both need dates to so upcoming parties, this is the perfect solution. Have fun with Nadia and not have to worry about getting involved. Until she has a proposition for him and then it's game on! Spend more time with Nadia? Take her V card? Yes, please! Turns out, they like each other more than a little, but it's complicated. There have to be rules to follow so no one gets hurts. But you know what they say, rules are meant to be broken! Oh Crosby! I love you so much! You're sexy, sweet, talented and you have such a big heart. Nadia is independent, funny and even though she's a virgin she knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it! Overall, I laughed, smiled, got tingles and couldn't get enough of Crosby and Nadia! I'm in love with this new series and these characters and I can't wait for more.

Audio: As Always Teddy and Erin are fantastic. I don't think anyone else could be Crosby and Nadia! Perfect narration, perfect casting!

Perfect amount of sweet and heat!

Lauren always brings the perfect amount of sweet & heat to her stories. You can’t help but fall in love with these characters. I enjoyed Crosby and Nadia’s flirty banter and conversations and this story just made my heart happy. I loved how much of a boss lady Nadia was and Crosby was so swoony. I loved the narration from Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon they are a great pair and they really brought Nadia and Crosby to life. Another great book from Lauren.

Absolutely loved it!!

I absolutely adored this book and this couple!! Crosby and Natalie are absolutely perfect together!! Natalie is Crosby's best friend Eric's sister so pretty much off limits as long as he has known her. They go from long time friends, to each others' plus one at events, to friends with benefits, to totally and madly in love. They have incredible chemistry and set the sheets on fire for sure, but their friendship is the sweetest and the feelings that develop between them happen so organically and honestly did not take long. When Crosby tells Natalie:
"You are the best thing, and you have been happening to me for years". I was totally swooning!
Their story is so sweet, so sexy, so much fun and oh so special. I loved it so much! Listening to this as an audiobook was just awesome! Teddy Hamilton is perfection as Crosby and Erin Mallon slays as Natalie. They bring these characters to life with such feeling. This is such an entertaining listen that will put a smile on your face that will surely stick around even after it's over. Fantastic start to this new series and I can't wait for what else Lauren Blakely has in store with this one!

Always spectacular audios!!

This audio was absolutely perfect!! The cast of narrators were amazing and I loved loved loved all of the characters! Such a wonderful feel good love story!
