Oh I love it when Lauren Blakely's book are extra steamy and this one really is. This is a new series that I am very excited about. I knew I would love this one because I love a good friends to lovers romance.
Nadia & Crosby are perfect, their chemistry is off the charts as is their steam level! Because they have been friends for years, their relationship takes off quick but doesn't feel like insta-love. I love Nadia because she is women who knows what she wants and she is also a women working in a "man's world" being an owner of a football team. Crosby is a famous baseball player so these too have a lot of mutual friend and go to a lot of the same events. I was so happy he wasn't a football player because that would have been drama and as always with Lauren Blakely, the drama is low which just made this book even better. Did I mention how hot this book is? I am not normally a fan of adult virgin's in romance books but this author has showed me different twice now. I loved that even though she is a virgin, she isn't innocent and her virginity isn't really an issue or a big deal.
At the end off this book we get some sneak peeks into the rest of this series and let me tell you... I CAN'T WAIT!!

Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton are my FAVORITE narration duo so that was just icing on this yummy piece of audio heaven!

Fabulous friends to lovers

This book is FANTASTIC!! This has all different types of things that I love-best friend's little sister, friends, sports...truly, there is something for everyone here. The Virgin Rule Book had me grinning, sighing and fanning myself. Lauren Blakely has definitely hit a home run with this one!

I love Nadia. I love how strong she is-both personally and professionally. She's in a high powered position and she holds her own-and why wouldn't she?? This author writes some of the best heroines in all of romancelandia because she lets them hold their own. I would be friends with Nadia in a heartbeat.

Crosby was so much fun to get to know. Superstitious-which comes with the territory of his profession *I* think-but funny and sexy as hell. He also has some great swoonworthy lines. I fell for him right away! I loved how he respected and appreciated Nadia.

The chemistry these two have is OFF THE CHARTS. There is one particular limo scene that had me fanning myself for sure!! The rest of their sexy times were hot as well and you'll definitely want a fan to help cool you off. There is more than them than the bedroom, and their friendship is fantastic. Watching that grow and develop into more was just so satisfying.

The supporting cast of characters made me smile. I always love seeing old friends (though this IS a standalone) and seeing new friends that I want to know more about. The writing is sharp and fun, clever and full of heart. I didn't want this book to end.

Now, Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon?? GOLD in these performances. They absolutely brought these characters to life for me. I felt like I was listening to a play and I loved every moment of it. Their voices just worked so well together!

The Virgin Rule Book is sexy, hot and smart. It's fun and a book I read in one sitting (and also didn't want to stop listening to!!) I just loved it. I absolutely highly recommend this book and I can't wait for the next one from this author!!

Lauren Blakely had me at Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon! This combination was a winner from the start, and then I listened. A romance to sit back and enjoy, Blakely weaves her magic with Nadia and Crosby. Nadia, the sister of Crosby's best friend has always been around. Cute and funny, but always at a distance. Now at a wedding, the two are dancing and all bets are off. This friends to lovers romance is everything I love. Nadia is a high powered professional in football, and Crosby loves her for her it. Crosby is handsome baseball player with a playful side and Nadia is head over heels for him. Low drama, lots of passion and lots of witty banter had me in love with this couple. I can't wait to see what is coming up next in this new series!

Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon are amazing together. I love both of these narrators. Teddy always has me falling for the hero,and he fits into Crosby's personality with ease. Erin always has me laughing, and with Nadia, she is the perfect fit. As always, Blakely casts her story flawlessly.

I loved this sweet and swoony friends to lovers romance! Nadia is a prominent business woman who runs a professional football team. She has wanted to date but it seems the men she meets are intimidated by her power and wealth. She has pretty much given up on finding love. Crosby is a successful, sexy baseball player who gets taken advantage of by the women he dates over and over again. He has decided to give up on dating for awhile. Crosby is Nadia's brothers best friend but they have been long time friends as well. When they meet at a wedding, they begin flirting which leads to more. Since they are both so busy with their carreers, they decide to enter into a friends with benefits relationship. Nadia may be a virgin physically but she knows what she wants. Now that she has found the right man, she isn't afraid to ask for it. When Crosby learns that Nadia is a virgin, he doesn't run, but is surprised by how much he wants to be the man to give her all the dirty pleasures she dreams about. But can these flirty friends go back to just friends when both their seasons ramp up? This is a fun & flirty, sweet and off the charts sizzling romance with enough heartfelt emotion to make you swoon and cheer for these delightful characters. Nadia is strong and sassy, and Crosby is sweet with a deliciously dirty talking mouth, making them perfect together and their chemistry is explosive! I also love all their friends and teammates who were funny, supportive and loyal. What a great start to the Rules of Love series!
Narrators, Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon really captured the feel of this sizzling friends to lovers romance. They really embody these characters flawlessly, expertly conveying their humor, confidence and caring natures. I really loved both their performances. Oh and you definitely have to stick around for the extra teasers at the end, they are a real treat!

Crosby and Nadia...Finally!!!

Being the owner of an NFL team in Las Vegas, Nadia is a very busy woman. She doesn’t have much time to date, but has decided to make the time, and enlist the help of a professional matchmaker. When the results of that endeavor prove to be fruitless, Nadia decides maybe she should focus on her job instead of trying to find Mr. Right.

Crosby, a big-time baseball player, hasn’t had any trouble finding girlfriends—they just end up being expensive disasters…every time. When he decides to take himself off the dating market, his teammates are there to help.

Nadia’s brother Eric is Crosby’s best friend from childhood, but that hasn’t stopped her and Crosby from having a great (sometimes flirty) friendship, too. Both being in professional sports, their paths cross from time to time.

While attending Eric’s wedding, Crosby and Nadia are chatting, and shared their similar woes w/the opposite sex. Since they attend some of the same sports functions, instead of attending solo, they have the bright idea to be each other’s Plus-One. They’re friends, and get along great, so what could possibly go wrong? The fact that they’re both attracted to each other could be an issue.

This was a beautiful story. I’ve waited it seems like forever for Crosby and Nadia’s story, and it was so worth the wait. You’ve got an NFL lady boss who isn’t afraid to ask for what she wants, and a hot AF baseball player with a seriously on-point gift for dirty talk and flirting. Even though we already knew these two were made for each other a while ago, Lauren gives us a great fairy tale we all deserve. With all the heat and swooniness we've all come to love. THERE'S A LOT OF NASTY TIMES!!

Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon give a great performance narrating, and stick around for the extras at the end. I’ve already laid claim to one of those extras (hot Brit James Joseph)! You won’t be disappointed.

Great Story!

My first audio book and I really enjoyed it. Finished it in two seasions!!! If you haven't tried audio, you should and Lauren Blakely is a great place to start.

Absolutely loved it!!

I absolutely adored this book and this couple!! Crosby and Natalie are absolutely perfect together!! Natalie is Crosby's best friend Eric's sister so pretty much off limits as long as he has known her. They go from long time friends, to each others' plus one at events, to friends with benefits, to totally and madly in love. They have incredible chemistry and set the sheets on fire for sure, but their friendship is the sweetest and the feelings that develop between them happen so organically and honestly did not take long. When Crosby tells Natalie:
"You are the best thing, and you have been happening to me for years". I was totally swooning!
Their story is so sweet, so sexy, so much fun and oh so special. I loved it so much! Listening to this as an audiobook was just awesome! Teddy Hamilton is perfection as Crosby and Erin Mallon slays as Natalie. They bring these characters to life with such feeling. This is such an entertaining listen that will put a smile on your face that will surely stick around even after it's over. Fantastic start to this new series and I can't wait for what else Lauren Blakely has in store with this one!

Sweet and Sexy Friends To Lovers

From start to finish, THE VIRGIN RULE BOOK is Lauren Blakely perfection, and I just really loved everything about it. From the banter, the slow burn to full-on conflagration, the respect and like that Nadia and Crosby have for each other that makes for the perfect segue into desire, this is a book that I will both remember and recommend, and I enjoyed every delectable moment.

I really like that Nadia is a strong savvy woman that knows what she wants...and what she doesn't. Lauren writes women that are well aware of what they bring to the table, and own it all the way, and this is what makes her books some of my absolute favorites. And Crosby, well, I fell in love with him right off the proverbial bat (see what I did there?). Underneath all the testosterone and swagger is another one of Lauren's men that is the epitome of swoon-worthy, and he is just wonderful.

I have found with audiobooks, even with a great story, that the narration can either make or break the experience. Lauren has a knack for casting the perfect talent to voice her characters, and Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton are magic together here. They bring Nadia and Crosby to life in the best way, and made listening to an already great story next level.

THE VIRGIN RULE BOOK is five stars worth of listening pleasure that has me anxiously awaiting the next book in the series. A definitely recommends from this happy listener.

The Virgin Rule book is the love story of two life long friends become everything to each other! I loved this sexy, beautiful story of two confident adults finding the spark in each other. Yes the Virgin stays with her First. Can I say Swooning!!!! Another winner for Lauren Blakely!

Teddy Hamilton is a huge favorite and I was so excited to hear him narrate this one. Erin brought the Sassiness for our confident lead!

A true feel good romance

Sometimes you just need a good old fashioned romance, and guess what? Lauren Blakey has nailed it with this fun, friends to lovers, angst free, sexy read. When Crosby Cash (sexy baseball player extraordinaire), swears off relationships and women, his best friends back him up 100%. That was before he realised that maybe his best friend’s sister, Nadia Harlow (who just so happens to be the owner of a pro football team), just might be interested in ‘more’ with him. Nadia and Crosby are just perfect together, they’re sweet, they’re funny, and they’re combustible in the bedroom (FYI, not just the bedroom). Most of Lauren Blakely’s books are interconnecting standalones, so if you’re a hardened fan like myself, you’ll recognise more than a few characters in this book, even though this is the start of a brand new series. The audio version, narrated perfectly by Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon, with an added bonus of James Joseph narrating an epilogue, and of course Lauren leaves us wanting for more when she gives us a couple of sneak peaks of her future audios, which of course, always have my most favourite narrators. Not surprisingly I loved it all, totally enjoyable, and totally addictive.

I REALLY wanted to like this book...

...but I'm sorry I just couldn't, it's predictable, forced with surprising little going on, such a shame because I normally love Lauren Blakely books, but sorry this one is a miss big time

Friends to lovers for the win!

Made me smile just as much as the guy on the cover.
Friends to lovers is always one of my favourites!
Add in the brother's best friend angle and we have a book that was a lot of fun, with clever, witty banter and steamy hot sexy scenes.
The narrators were perfectly cast and a joy to listen to.

A great lighthearted listen

I really enjoyed this book. There was a moment or two that had me scratching my head and running to my girls to ask about their thoughts but overall it was a really enjoyable story that was sweet and easy to listen to. I loved that the conflict was minimal. It is one of those books that you can listen to in a day when you want something lighthearted to entertain you. The characters were made for one another and their banter was pure perfection.


The narration was spot on. Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton were perfectly cast for this audiobook. They really gave these characters life. The production was great with no issues.
There is a bonus epilogue for one of the characters, performed by James Joseph, and I think anyone that loves the British accent will be asking for more. It was a cute epilogue, and I’d have liked to have had a little more of Matthew’s story. Just because I find him intriguing and wanted more.

You also get a little taste of future books, and it was fun to hear what is coming next for the side characters that have their own stories coming soon.
