Good for the Basics

Nothing new here, but it is a good review of some basics. The diet section I think is a bit outdated, but again, it is all very high level. I don't think the PDF training plans accompany this though, which is the main reason I purchased the book. No real excuse for not including those anymore. Wouldn't recommend for anyone who has already run an ultra.

Good intro to Ultras

Decent easy listen. Some useful tips. Terrible narration. Also check out David GOGGINS book to learn tips about ULTRAS.

Basic

As I am new to Ultras this book highlighted something things I needed to get my head around before my 1st 50k Ultra.

Some good basic tips. Maybe to basic for some.
