Stop swapping narrators in the middle of established series

Story is great and provides a satisfying conclusion to this saga with most plot points wrapped up, but the new narrator was so off-putting that I stopped after 30 minutes and just bought the Kindle version instead. I know RC Bray has lowered his output due to health issues but I’d rather have waited for his version than been handed this weak knockoff instead. Why is this so hard for audiobook publishers to understand? The Fallen World Series just pulled the same nonsense by swapping Mark Boyett for Christopher Ryan Grant. They’re both good but are 100% NOT interchangeable. Knock it off, Publishers.

Don’t change readers mid-trilogy!!!

While the new reader is probably a nice guy… I wanted RC Bray. This change has ruined this trilogy for me.

Hurt by the change in narrator

This isn't a slight against Peter Berkot, but having the first two novels voiced by RC Bray and the last book in the series done by anyone else ... it's rather jarring.

NEVER change narrators

I absolutely loved the 1st and 2nd books, but I really struggled with this one unfortunately 😔. The new narrator truly ruined the book....he's just so whiney sounding and his female voices should never be repeated.

Excellent series with thorough completion

Richard Fox finishes the series that revolved around a family split by warfare, Warfare brought on by unbridled capitalistic Earth militarists corporations hellbent to wipe an entire sentient species from their planet to make way for another occupier. By splitting the family, he was able to create separate plot-arcs for each member that imbued an ample amount of interest in following their turmoil. The ending took a circuitous path for each member, often including other characters who, themselves were written in a sardonic manner that made the telling humorous to the point of hilarity.

Peter Berkrot's performance was excellent.

Why change the narrator?!

The story is great. The new narrator for the 3rd book is not. It’s like a show you’re watching 100% changed the cast and kept all there names between seasons. That’s just talking about the differences in voices… don’t get me started on where this guy chooses to use more inflection or read someone’s dialogue like they’re in Shakespeare.. it’s rough. Completely throws of the pace of the story and how ACTUAL people (Tyr) talk. Get ready to hear the SAME gruff voice for just about everyone (like literal Sith Lord from Star Wars).

Narrator

Why switch the narrator with someone so vastly different in narration styles? I couldn't finish the book. You ruined what could have been a decent series.
