This brand-new unabridged audiobook of The Two Towers, the second part of J. R. R. Tolkien’s epic adventure The Lord of the Rings, is read by the BAFTA award-winning actor, director, and author Andy Serkis.

The company of the Ring is torn asunder. Frodo and Sam continue their journey alone down the great River Anduin - alone, that is, save for the mysterious creeping figure that follows wherever they go. This continues the classic tale begun in The Fellowship of the Ring, which reaches its awesome climax in The Return of the King.

I have read the Lord Of The Rings many times and have listened to several audio recordings. This one by Andy Serkis is by far the best. Aside from the great work on the multitude of voices, what stands out are the songs. Andy gives each song it’s own flavor and character. It is truly remarkable and makes a case that these books are made better with the audio recording.

OMG! The best audio version of LOTR.

Andy Serkis is a phenomenal narrator and perfect for LOTR, better than all the others and that's saying something. The fact that he was in the movies makes it that much better.

Excellent

Serkis is a genius. He has distinct voices for every character, not just Gollum. Best audiobook ever!

Incredible!!!

Andy Serkis is amazing! with his amazing voice portrays a vast number of individuals. His depiction of Gollum is of course fantastic, but his Treebeard is inspired. He makes even the lengthy narratives enjoyable.

A Masterpiece
