This book is not about religion, and David Young is not a Christian. This story is the result of three years of channeled messages from Jesus and Mary Magdalena that came to Young through incredible synchronicities, his artwork, and inner dialogues, which ultimately guided him toward discovering the hidden truth behind history's greatest deception.

Jesus and Mary Magdalena's incredible journey of love, family, and survival is uncovered in this presentation of inspiration and channeled messages. This unconventional book will also soothe and inspire you with David Young's heavenly music to accompany this breathtaking, mind-expanding story of true historical events.

I loved the story and liked the narration. Even the flute in the background was very pleasant. But the singing was a bit much. It made feel like I was in church. If I wanted to listen to singing, I would have bought a song album. This is the third audible book I have purchased with singing on it. Please, no more singing on Audible books!!!

Book or music album?

I selected this audible offering as a narrative and pretty much half of it is music. Even though the music is very nice , it’s not what I expected or wanted. The actual information is good, but too brief

Too much music, too little info

Much of the story about Jesus and the Marys is true and those who make Jesus out to be a virgin-conceived celibate who died for our sins are brainwashed. He was an extraordinary spiritual man who was crucified because he was calling out the corruption of the Jewish patriarchs.

That said, the delivery here is an eye-roller… I’m not necessarily discounting his experience, just saying that the music is terrible and overdone, and the personal promotion is tiresome.

If you want to read the true stories of the Marys, pick up anything by Meghan Watterson… she’s a studied expert in religion and specifically the women of religious history. Her writing is brilliant, narration is beautiful and you don’t have to endure the cheese.

It’s just cheesy…

Thanks David Young for writing a beautiful book on Jesus. Thank you for a wonderful narrative combined with beautiful heavenly music. I highly recommend this book for anybody who wants to build more love and hope in today's community. This book is definitely not for people who get offended!

Absolutely loved it!

This book was well written, well narrated, well edited, and well researched. I found myself listening to the songs because the context of the meaning was very touching. I would highly recommend it to anyone of any faith, belief system, and especially my very Catholic mother.

As a free/critical thinker/reader, these ideas are far from new to me. Maybe a bit more specific & detailed in the story, which ultimately I have no evidence of, it's good to see these possibilities explored.

Great Instrumental Music

Fascinating text, beautiful mixed vocal and instrumental music, wonderful paintings. I hope -- but first! I AM NOT DAVID'S MIMI! I am an old lady who lived in Tahoe from 2011 to 2022 shoveling my snow, helping in wildlife rehab and knitting to audio books. Now seriously, three years of channeling sounds exciting but study of Eusebius and many others takes decades. The psychic Sylvia Browne has written about the two Marys and another book about Jesus -- physical description, travel to France, life there. She was able to query Francine, her spirit guide, about these things. Some people think the wedding at Cana was Jesus and Mary Magdalen's wedding. I read that Mary Magdalen was much younger than Jesus, and was a friend of the family as they grew up. She would be toddling as Jesus was almost to manhood! He was extremely fond of her. He cuddled her and joked with her when she was little. When he returned from his travels, she had grown to a beautiful marriageable woman who was also educated. I felt there was a bit too much David in the book. Premarital chastity is still widely practiced! Joseph of Arimathea was a key figure mentioned in the gospels who only loaned the tomb while Jesus needed a bit of nursing before being whisked off for longer-term recovery and the trip financed by Joseph of Arimathea, a wealthy disciple and patron who stayed in the background. As to life-long pain in walking and badly damaged hands, there is too much David in all the worry! Jesus knew how to heal everyone else, so why not himself? I understand people traveled in large caravans back then (think covered wagons) -- for safety and to help one another! People to watch, people to make supper, people to go for water, others to round up the kids. The Church has romanticized poverty, but if the soldiers drew lots for Jesus' clothing, that must have been some fine linen or wool! It does get chilly in Israel. And all those sheep gave wool! We have ancient pieces of knitting from the Middle East, At any rate, let's not worry about no way to get money for winter clothes and no L.L. Bean around! I believe Mother Mary and all the children did make the long trip. And once they were out of the area, nobody was going to jump to put handcuffs on the "criminal" Jesus!!! I believe the whole family had a happy time in France, telling the simple truths, doing much of their own necessary household survival tasks. Mother Mary could teach improved practices to the other women already living there. Jesus didn't preach to the multitudes per se -- that career was finished -- but enjoyed being around children, teaching basics. And yes, some people in our time continue to believe Jesus spoke RED ENGLISH WORDS, and indeed the scribes thought it was okay to "improve" a text as they copied. David's material about how government leaders drastically changed the Church is good to know. Eusebius describes the early belief systems struggling for supremacy. I have made a casual attempt to read the texts that did not get into the Bible. Wow, just wow! Thank you, David, And thank you, Audible!
