Erotica with an old-fashioned ambience

The Transformation of David is a short audiobook with a sort of old-fashioned erotic ambience. During WW II a British soldier learns from a remote tribe in Burma the secret of switching the bodies of two people. On hard times following the war, he hatches a plot to further exploit an opportunity to be the guardian of a wealthy orphan by using this power to switch his own daughter into the body of his new ward. His machinations are more diabolical than just seizing control of the boy’s fortune; both he and his transformed daughter use the newly female heir sexually as well.

Of course, that is the erotic aspect of this story. The victim of this unsavory father-daughter team is rescued relatively quickly and changed back into his own body, but not before being deflowered in every orifice and loving every minute of the ordeal. After the malefactors get their comeuppance, his rescuers enable him to periodically experience becoming a woman for short periods, an option which he exercises late into his life.

Although the sexual exploitation feature is a bit off-putting, once you get past that the story is fairly enjoyable. Considering the diversity of characters whose voices she had to simulate, Cheyanne Humble’s narration was exceptional. For me, the mostly genteel language used to reference genitalia and rather coarse sexual activities provided a touch of unintended humor.
