Publisher's summary

The remote campground in the mountains has a history shrouded in legend. Located by the mysterious mounds of a vanished people, it was once a popular summer destination for children, but closed long ago under tragic circumstances.

Josh and Allison Conner have moved out from the city, inspired to create a retreat for children in need, a place to build skills and character. They've brought their own children with them, and now they're hurrying to rebuild and update the old camp in time for their first opening day.

But something lurks in the wilderness around the old summer camp, something that strikes against the Conners' best efforts to revitalize it. They feel watched, then threatened, but after sinking their savings and their hopes into the place, they are unwilling to walk away.

Paranormal investigator Ellie Jordan must sort history from legend to determine what haunts the long-dead campground, and how to fight it, before it inflicts more harm on the well-meaning family attempting to restore it to life.

Love This Series!

As always, a great creepy story! Nice and scary, but not unnecessarily gory. The narrator is not quite as polished as the previous one, but she is by no means bad and is making a great effort to keep the tone consistent. My only complaint, which could be down to either the narrator or the sound editing, is that sometimes the volume drops and makes it difficult to hear, especially when a character is speaking in a low voice or whispering. I still want to hear what is being said. Other than that, it is a fantastic addition to the series! Please keep them coming!

Fun story

Great story line. Enjoyed this book a lot. You can just envision this from some of my camp experiences.

I am happy!

This series is awesome. I am glad the author decided to produce more audiobooks of these spooky tales. (Listen at .95 percent. The narrator speaks fairly quickly.)

The Queen of the Trails

One of my favorite ghosts trapper stories so far. Absolutely loved the setting and history of the camp grounds, especially the Trail Walker herself. Very well done.
