amazing

I loved this book. As a book for young readers, I was delightfully surprised as I enjoyed it very much for myself as It has very mature issues. I was thinking about it for my 10 year old nephew, but it is not for him.

Breaks my heart

Wonderfully lyrical, textured reading. Heartwrenching story. Two hours never felt longer, and I still wanted there to be more once it was over. Couldn't recommend this story more.

The Tiger Rising

Wonderful emotional layers. My 9 Yo granddaughter appreciated the emotional connections. Her favorite piece of the story was the realization of dad and son having each other. They both missed mom but they had each other. They were not alone in their feelings of loss.

Worth Purchasing!

This book was an assignment for our son in his 4th grade ELA class during the distance learning part of the COVID-19 pandemic. The school provided links to listen to someone read it on YouTube and the person didn't pronounce words correctly and was very inanimate. Being a member for Audible for several years, I purchased this book and my son and I listened to it and completed his assignment in 2 days. The narrator is exceptional! The author is exquisite! The story was wonderful. Of course, I cried.

The tiger rising

I loved the fact that nthe tiger was like the sun.I also really like the part where they say run I could text my favorite animal. I absolutely hate the part where the tiger get shot because why what why would I not. I really can I I I I don't Christine I don't really like her at all. That's right she had ruthless I've all but it's it's it's kind of cool but if the narrator by doing right back or my name is doing backwards kidding just doing doing but the tiger the tiger is so beautiful I want Tigers tigers my second favorite animal else the wolves but in the story that would've been the best. I really hit the part where the fact is the day when they talk about them is that they talk about the mother

Not my favorite...

It was short. I'll say that, but I really liked the storyline. It didn't feel very,"finished." Some of Kate DiCamillo's other book's, like "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane" and "The Tale of Despereax" are books that EVERYONE MUST read, but this one wasn't my favorite.
