Heartbreaking in so many ways

This book grabbed me right from the beginning! I felt so anxious for the FMC - what she was going through, and the choice she was trying to make made me want to keep listening to find out what happened to her. I loved how the author built the story with chapters from the past and the present. I thought the story was over a chapter before it actually was, and was thinking it was a pretty good story, but then that last chapter - BOOM. Took it out of my "pretty good" rating and made it fantastic! I am still thinking about the impossible choices that were made and how heartbreaking those choices were to make.
Great book - a solid 5 ⭐️ for me.

Wow!!!

Loved the story line, and then its COMPLETE turn at the end. I had no inclination it would turn in this direction.

Stunned and Shocked

How do you explain the utter and total shock when the last 10% of the book has you staring unfocused, in shock and speechless. When you hear the “this is Audible” you slowly shake your head and realize your cheeks are damp from tears that you didn’t realize were falling. Cuz those are the words I need for this review!

This story starts and continues to add layers and layers and then in one moment it is stripped all away. I already know this story will cling to me, and I am sure when I see lavender, or my daughters curls lift in the wind when we are together, this story will be in the back of my mind.

Jessica did a wonderful job with the narration. She put a voice to the story and it felt so natural, like it was the narrators story. It never felt acted, just like we were privy to moments in the moment.

the storyline was amazing and kept me interested. The narrator has an amazing voice and shows so much emotion through each character. Amazing job will recommend to others. The different accents got me so shocked in a great way,

Amazing writing and performance

This was an amazing book. It made me cry like a baby and then I got mad… I couldn’t believe the twist at the end!

Oof da!

That ending has me reeling and I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad thing. I’m still sitting here reliving the whole dang story to put all the pieces together.

This short story packs a heavy punch and I’m so glad I listened to it.

Whatttttt!!! That TWIST! Whoaaaaaa!!

Went into this one as a thriller rec from a friend! I’m always down for a good thriller! Man Man Man!!!! WTH 😳 the TWIST was definitely a TWIST! Devoured loved and recommend! Quick read but oh a good one!! Savannah Thomas done a phenomenal job with the narration and nailed the accents!! I will be looking into more by this author!
