Great Narration!

I'm not a fan of third person, but the narrator did a great job of doing all the voices. Very talented. I liked the emotion and swell in her voice. The author did a good job tackling dark topics without going too much into it. This was a fun book with a twist on the end!

Unseen twist

I loved the twist. I Never saw it coming. Its was a fun and quick read/listen.

Nice Christmas Thriller

Kept me engaged and on the edge of my seat. Haven’t read a thriller in a while, and this one was pretty intense on the child death/ child loss end.

Group of fake friends come together after a death in the friend group. They reunite over a Secret Santa game that quickly leads to spilling secrets and then realizing they’re in danger.

Several shocking twists as you try to find the truth of who is hunting down the friend group.

I am speechless

Do not mistake this book for a sweet Christmas romance based on the name. It’s a thriller with a rollercoaster of twists and turns all the way to the very end.

Fantastic Narration, Upsetting Scene

This would have been a three-star story up until the climax. The dirty secret was extremely upsetting to me and I could not finish the book after.

I will say, though, that the narrator's performance was excellent. With a large cast of characters, she did well distinguishing their voices. I was enjoying the book up until the end.

What is even going on?

This story is all over the place. Does the author even know what’s going on? I didn’t even finish it.

Extremely juvenile and mediocre story

The writing and story were extremely juvenile, horrible, and the narrator mispronounced many, many words. I was very disappointed. Story was so ridiculous overall. Yuck.

So many mispronunciations!

Instead of Spliff (meaning a joint), narrator kept saying Spilf.
Also continuously mispronounced ominous (saying ommneeus)
