Around 1:10 in the death meditation chapter it referenced the Tibetan book of the dead as a different text to what we are studying.
Isn’t this a commentary of the book of the dead?
It’s a good info though I’m plastics it’s an ai text. The author does not exist to google. There are a few reasons I’m sure of this. It referencing the book it’s commenting on as an external and different book was my aha! moment. Still a good overview

I think this is written by ai

Although the AI narration was well done in my opinion, this wasn’t what I was expecting.
Judging by the title and description I was hoping to hear the actual Tibetan Book of the Dead… but this was an educational text describing the book of the dead from an educational standpoint… like what it could provide on an artistic level to numerous different ways etc.

Also, not what I was expecting.

This is one of the best renditions of The Tibetan Book of the Dead I have come across and I've read many. If you have not read TTBotD this is the place to start. And here's one of the best parts; the narration. It is not possible to discern that the narration is virtual. I'm hesitant to say this in a world where AI is emerging and possibly putting humans out of work. I will sometimes purchase a book on Audible because of the narrator. In this case I almost avoided this one because I'm not a fan of synthetic, computer voices. This is not that. I hope the human voice on Audible never goes away but this is a welcome addition.

Do Not let the narrator dissuade you from this one

Although it is a great introduction of the concepts of Tibetan Buddhism, I was expecting that it would actually have the text and practices in the Tibetan book of the dead. What I got was a review or academic analysis of the Tibetan book of the dead

Not what I expected
