When it comes to writing nerve-jangling thrillers, R.L. Stine is the master. His wildly popular books have attracted thousands of young people. The Thrill Club is his hair-raising tale of a teenager who writes horror stories everyone loves - until the stories start coming true.©1994 Parachute Press, LLC (P)1994 Recorded Books, LLC Misterio Suspenso Aterrador Ficción

The narrator super breathy. The story was ridiculous. And idk it’s my least favorite out of the series. Not worth a read.

Not good

This is the first day that the Old Fear Street books are behind a paywall.I hope they go back to being free again.

I liked the idea of the Thrill Club, but couldn't help but see what was going to happen as the story progressed.

I have to wonder if that's why the ending wasn't fully spelled out. The climaxing conflicts almost seem TOO glossed over at the end. I will say that I felt a real kindred connection with the characters in this book and felt like ultimately the story was saying sometimes what the truth is isn't always clear cut. That those involved can't even give a clear answer.

At least it adds another layer to the stories of Fear Street (Double Date also does this too IMHO).

It Had me questioning things till the end

The story is definitely classic R.l. Stine book spooky 👻 fiction, the narration was the worse part for me. Read for yourself. R.l. Stine is one of my favorite classic reads

C.J. Critt does a decent job emoting these various teenagers and telling their story. The audio quality is good and the acting decent. A good recording.

This book had some good moments. The little short story horror vignettes were really entertaining and good. They also felt realistic for how a teenager would write horror stories. I liked the various characters and I felt it was an interesting tale. I think it was good the story made a point that the Thrill Club was more an official name for just some friends hanging out. That said the story was a little erratic and jumped around in spots. The ending really didn't make sense too long, it works on momentum and the story lacks that at the end when the antagonist pauses to monologue and explain how and what they did.

Not a bad book and fun but there are better Fear Street Novels.

Erratic but entertaining
