Gripping and captivating

Couldn't stop listening!!!

Usually it takes me a few chapters to really get into a book. Not this one! From start to finish, all I wanted to do was listen to this book (and the first one). I love the storyline, characters, and plot twists. Can't wait until book three!

Action packed goodness

This author knows how to yank you into the action and give you a ride. Play your emotions like a banjo being plucked at Uber speeds. Make you feel the adrenaline rush of battle or that soul sucking emptiness of a funeral. You'll feel spent after this masterful narration of this book.
Should have ended at the funeral though.

Full of military action and decisions by individuals.

I enjoyed both of the books in this series so far.

Good narration with good voices for multiple characters.

I thought the narrator was excellent. I’m not big on hero boy saves world, but great imaginative story. I would recommend for pure entertainment.

Fun, Exciting and Engaging

Had my doubts at the beginning of book one . At first the main character Ben was a spoiled , whining kid. I rolled my eyes a few times and thought- God let me get through this ! However, slowly I begun to enjoy Ben’s personality which by the end of book one you understand that’s what makes him uniquely perfect for his role in this exciting, fun storyline. I enjoyed both books and looking forward to the next . The narrator brings life to the story. I am a huge fan of RC Bray , but I found my other favorite now .

book 1 was incredible and book 2 also really good. I'll be waiting to buy the third audiobook or ebook or hardcover!!!
