I swear I’m a good girl.

I didn’t go to the exclusive, after-hours masquerade to kiss my dad’s best friend. I didn’t even know who the masked man was when he touched me like I was his every fantasy.

But when I learn exactly how off-limits my new lover is, I do my best to avoid him the next time. Except, he has his sinful sights set on me, even when he discovers who I am. Just one time, he whispers. Then we’ll pretend this never happened.

Seems the enigmatic, gorgeous single dad I’ve known by day is a very dirty man after dark.

But one night turns into a stolen weekend, giving me a taste of so much more. When it's over, we vow to stay apart.

We could never work.

He’s focused on raising his young son, and I can’t let my already damaged family break more. But the caring, possessive man keeps coming back to me, and these secret nights tangled up together are turning into tender moments that make my heart thunder.

And soon, this tease of a forbidden romance is making me want so much more than I can ever have….

The Ultimate Tease!!!

The story of Jules and Finn is a delicious tale of role playing, after dark fantasies come true and testing the limits of not only desires but how far you will go for love!

For all my audio lovers out there— look no further!! Jason Clarke is the absolute perfect Finn! His voice exudes make dominance in the best way all while making you swoon and wish
He was your baby daddy to boot!

Vanessa Edwin can do no wrong! She portrays Jules’s motivation and attitude with sass and longing that makes you want to push the envelope on your own desires!

A chance encounter at an after dark party draws these two  together and from the get go their spark ignites a fire!  Who doesn’t want a  delicious tryst in a library of all places?!..( sorry not sorry one th spoiler alert ). But as cruel fate would have it, there’s a twist. Her Mystery Man is no longer a mystery… He’s Jules’ hard ass, ex-cop turned lawyer Father’s best friend! Come on Universe?!!?!

As the story progresses a couple meets in Paris, because of course,  they haaaave to work on the same project !! (Clearly a hardship …in Paris)
If you’ve read any of Lauren Blakely‘s books in the past, you will now that she weaves complications and angst with delicious passion like the literary seamstress she is!

Work life balance is important to Finn as he’s trying to raise his child.  Jules is trying to make her mark in the fast-paced world of television and dealing with her own personal struggles from the past.  What I like about Lauren’s books is that you will obviously get a wonderful love story; clearly you are going to get a firey passion that will burn up the sheets; but you also get real emotions and human struggles. These characters might seem like they are  living privileged lives, but their struggles are real, you grow to care about them and when they get resolved, you will feel even more happy for them!

The Tease lives up to its title … grab your copy today and you will not be disappointed!! (On second thought.. maybe have a glass of water nearby to put out any fires that arise from how fast you flip the pages!

I loved Jules & Finn's story!

Finn is a divorced, new single father to Zack who he is just beginning to grow a relationship with. Jules is working for a production company, in the hopes of someday becoming a producer. I liked how everything was handled with Jules' OCD, from her therapist, her explanation to Finn and subsequent confrontation with her father.  From the beginning I thought maybe The Scene would be more prominent, but it was really only the catalyst for their actual meeting. Their forbidden romance is at the forefront and they both struggle a bit but realize that what they have together is more important. I really enjoyed this VERY steamy book.
The narrators, Vanessa Edwin and Jason Clarke are one of those dream team narrator duos. Finn and Jules suited them perfectly. Vanessa gets me every time when she gets into those emotional scenes. Those emotions and humor really translate well in her perfomance of Jules. Jason Clarke, growly as usual. Both have great kid voices and equally do both male and female voice perfectly!

Jules & Finn!

Where to start? Jules and Finn. What a couple! Lauren Blakely does it again, bringing spicy romance into my ears with a phenomenal narrations and wonderful story! This one has a few tropes to it, so if you enjoy a bit of taboo, a virgin and a single dad, you will fall for this couple, just like I did. Finn is divorced, a single dad to Zach and is ready to get back on the horse as one might say. Jules is an inexperienced woman with lots of fantasies. A chance meeting finds them together at a masked event, so they don't know who the other is. But when faced in everyday life, will they recognize each other? And where will they go from there? I don't want to give too much away with this one, as it is all part of the build up, but I will say this is a great addition to the series. Packed with all the passion, the fun of Zach and emotions, I found myself unable to stop listening. It's the perfect mix and a fantastic listen.

And just how good is the narration? How can it go wrong with Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin? These two talents brought it all out. Emotions, heat, parenting, it's all there melting my heart and keeping me happy. Loved this one!

Loved it!

As a huge fan of Lauren Blakely I had high expectations for this book as well and it surpassed my expectations. I do sometimes struggle with a large age gap trope, but I am a sucker for a hot single dad trope and these characters sucked me in and had me rooting for their HEA from the get go. The chemistry and steam in this book are next level with plenty of plot, not too much angst, and a satisfying HEA for everyone.

Vanessa Edwin and Jason Clarke are two favorite narrators and are absolutely on fire when they are paired on a book like this one. Definitely worth a credit to listen to these two.

This audio is Finn-tastic

Age gap, punishing with pleasure, single dad, dad’s best friend? Vanessa Edwin AND Jason Clarke?! I literally had zero choice but to listen to this audiobook. And what a performance they put on. Oh my lord. Lauren did it again. This entire series was absolutely stunning, but I have to say that Finn was my all time favorite. How could he not be? This was such a great story of love, acceptance, and forgiveness. I’m obsessed with Finn and Jules.

I'm madly in love with Finn!

I’m loving the Virgin Society series. Lauren Blakely has given us so many feels in several tropes I love. Teasing about Jules and Finn got me so exited to listen to this.

An unexpected meeting puts Finn and Jules in a sticky situation. At the time they meet at a masquerade party, there’s an almost instant chemistry between them. They spend a wonderful night together, and are hoping for more, but Finn is shocked when he discovers that Jules is his business partner’s daughter, and Jules finds out that Finn is her father’s business partner. Knowing this, they agree they can’t continue to see each other. Easier said than done. Their pull toward each other is so strong, and it’s hard to stay away. No spoilers, but this is where the complications get more complicated. I loved how their story unfolds, and also the side stories. You’ll recognize some characters from this series, and get an update on them.

Lauren gives all the feels in this story of second chances in its many forms. Finn and Jules make a beautiful couple.

Jason Clarke narrates a single dad who spoils his young son, and finds himself in the predicament of right girl, wrong time when he meets Jules. Vanessa Edwin’s Jules is working through some issues of her own, and Finn seemingly comes along when she needs him most. I love Jules’ sass and her self-confidence and awareness of what she wants in her career. And Finn and his son are so adorable together. Another perfectly imperfect love story.

❤️🩶 AGE-GAP FORBIDDEN PERFECTION 🩶❤️

It’s enough to say it’s Lauren Blakely.. it’s Jason Clarke.. and it’s Vanessa Edwin - so it’s a must have and the easiest decision ever made. But, if you do need more, then read on….

A daughter and her father’s best friend are torn between loyalty, guilt and lust when an invitation only private kinky masquerade role playing and spicy ‘taster’ tryst leads to the West Village.. to a one night only.. to a virgin’s firsts.. to multiple Os.. to Paris.. and to much much more. Jules and Finn’s forbidden-to-forever is Lauren’s soul-mate age-gap deliriously delicious story to tell. However I will say, the emotional choices and highly charged difficult decisions.. the sweet and smoochy.. the dirty desires and temptations.. the barriers and dangers.. the past hurt and present hope.. the sweet interactions with the seven yo son.. the longing.. and of course the love, were weaved and unravelled by a very talented storyteller. I love the way Lauren writes about magnetic chemistry, about naughty and needy, heat and heart, sweet and sizzling and tender and tortured. Her cast of loveable interesting main and secondary characters are both new and preloved.. and her well-chosen narrators bring them all to life. Vanessa and Jason are the perfect pairing of voice actors for twenty-five yo Jules and forty yo single Dad Finn’s emotional and highly charged journey. For their electric attraction, loss of control, dark desires, fantasies, dirty talk, steamy scenes, obsession and their heart’s secret desires to come to life as only the very best of narrators can do. And together they breathed life and love into this wonderful wonderful story and listen.

Worth a credit? Yes.. and each and every time it’s going to be a yes because I know my credits are always a good exchange for this brilliant author’s latest book.

Spicy and beautifully told!

The final installment of Lauren Blakely’s Virgin Society series, The Tease, is so ungentlemanly and super sexy HOT! In fact, I believe this is her spiciest book yet! The Tease is an age-gap, dad’s best friend, and a virgin trope. Lauren’s characters are well developed, have strong back stories, and her writing style is one I absolutely love. Jules and Finn together are just over the top hot! Finn loves doing ungentlemanly things to the beauty he meets at a private party until he finds out who she is. But, these two have a very difficult time resisting the electricity that continually sparks between them. Now, add in Jason Clarke as Finn and Vanessa Edwin as Jules OMG!! These two are so very talented. Jason Clarke has recently become one of my most favorite male narrators. His voice is rugged, easy on the ears, expressive, and just does things to my aural senses. Vanessa Edwin’s voice is smooth, easy to listen to, and so very expressive. How these two very talented narrators bring Jules and Finn to life with their voices is fantastic. Whether you read or listen to The Tease you will love it if you like age-gap, dad’s best friend, virgin trope and fantastic writing abilities. Now, if you listen to the audiobook but have never listened to Jason Clarke or Vanessa Edwin, I’m quite certain you will be a fan by the end of the book.
