Publisher's Summary

Great. I've somehow found myself tangled up with a siren, a mermaid, and a homicidal wicked witch who once tried to strangle me to death. Way to go, Amber!

Amber Sand, legendary matchmaker, couldn't be more surprised when her arch nemesis, Ivy, comes asking for her help. Ivy's sister, Iris, is getting married, and Ivy wants to prove her sister is making a huge mistake. But as Amber looks into Iris's eyes, there doesn't seem to be a problem - Iris has clearly found her match.

It seems happily ever after is in the cards, but when Iris seeks out a dangerous, life-altering spell, it's up to Amber and Ivy to set aside their rivalry and save the day.

While Iris is willing to put everything on the line for love, Amber continues to wrestle with her own romantic future. Her boyfriend, Charlie, is still destined for another, and no matter how hard she clings to him, fear over their inevitable breakup shakes her belief system to the core.

Because the Fates are never wrong - right?

Selfish Child

This story is just full of ego and selfish behavior. The lead character is just an unlikable jerk. I liked the first story but this one... she just got on my nerves.

LGBT, binary friends, one and all, step or swim...

right up.
Gag me, I miss the good old days when faggots were what you called your buddy's, even though you had no clue what one was.
I miss the neighbor kid that dressed up in his mom's clothes.
I miss "Leave it to Beaver" families, despite not growing up with a dad when it was important.
I miss stories that didn't need to bring everyday ills into the background.
Maybe just maybe there are authors that can write a Joe Abercrombie story and not need gimmicks and fluff to pull it off.

So much whining!!!!

I’m really disappointed in this book. Such a cute idea but seriously Amber is so incredibly annoying and whiny in this book. I have literally been skipping chapters. What a disappointment. I’m not sure I’ll listen to book 3.

Hard to like her :/

I’m sorry, I even like Ivy better than Amber. The story line is cute though.

Pretty Cute!

It was very much like one of those witchy rom coms but for teens and it was cute. It was definitely a little one note, a little redundant. There wasn't a chance to really love any of the characters, but it was sweet and I always love a book with some rainbow in it ✨️

Meh til the end

Dang, this whole book I wasn't enjoying it, was gonna rate it a solid three stars because it felt like a real downgrade from the first book. Amber seemed to fall into her insecurities and childishness, growed down not up. I still was enjoying the world and plot with the sirens but her drama was a bit too much. The last three chapters were really what gave it that last star, and really just because there was more magical involvement. It ended so well, but the book on a whole makes me hopful but have worries over the next and final book.
