Publisher's Summary

Michael A. Singer, author of The Untethered Soul, tells the extraordinary story of what happened when, after a deep spiritual awakening, he decided to let go of his personal preferences and simply let life call the shots. As Singer takes you on this great experiment and journey into life's perfection, the events that transpire will both challenge your deepest assumptions about life and inspire you to look at your own life in a radically different way.

Spirituality is meant to bring about harmony and peace. But the diversity of our philosophies, beliefs, concepts, and views about the soul often leads to confusion. To reconcile the noise that clouds spirituality, Michael Singer combines accounts of his own life journey to enlightenment - from his years as a hippie-loner to his success as a computer program engineer to his work in spiritual and humanitarian efforts - with lessons on how to put aside conflicting beliefs, let go of worries, and transform misdirected desires. Singer provides a road map to a new way not of living in the moment but to exist in a state of perpetual happiness.

This is better than excellent... listen now

There are good books, great books, excellent books and then there is THIS book. Western society is so addicted to success, but without happiness... how many are on happy pills to cope with getting out of bed, life in general is pretty sad, stressful and painful. I am sure you have asked yourself "is there a better way?"... well... listen now.

You don't need to possibly go to the lengths Michael did, but figure out what it means to you and your life... you do YOU!! do it NOW

An addicting listen!

I really enjoyed listening to this audio book. I think Michael A Singer is an excellent writer and I only wish he wrote/narrated more books. This audio book takes you through a journey of Michaels awakening and it is truly astonishing. I do not usually write reviews but this really deserves one.

A good read - at least for the first half

I totally believe in the core message of this which is to surrender to the ‘now’, whatever it is that is being thrown at you, and I particularly enjoyed the first half which was more heavily spiritually orientated. The latter half was more focused on a legal case which provided deep personal challenges for the author but in itself was less relevant in terms of spiritual messaging beyond the core message and ‘miracle’ based text. I was left with a question as to whether this latter subject matter dominance was used as a means of getting the authors truth out into the public domain (ie ‘for the avoidance of doubt’) and raises a question in itself about the role the ego may still be playing. Still worth a read. The authors other book, the untethered soul, is very much worth reading.

Truly amazing

A truly wonderful account of Michael A Singers letting go. In places it moved me to the point of tears. We all have that complaining voice in our head, but to ignore that and just surrender to the perfection of life and it to move so beautifully. WOW Michael you are the man 👍

A classic spiritual text with a corporate twist

Can you be spiritual and enjoy business & commercial success? Can you let go in the face of reputational ruin? This book shows you how one man achieved both without compromising his morals and trusting in the process of life. Great book.

Great message but story drawn out

I loved this book and the message but it didn't have practical application to surrendering. Towards the end i realised this is like an autobiography. Still worth the read but if you want a how to, this isnt it. I assume The Untethered Soul (his other book ) will be more around the practicalities of surrendering...will see.

I felt the magnitude of this book from the first hour I listened to it. Thank you so much for bringing trust and a surge of faith and love into my life. If you are drawn to this book, don't ignore it and if you're not drawn to it, don't ignore that either.

thank you Michael Singer

I was disconnected from life and your book opened me up to life and at the perfect time. The girl of my dreams showed up in my life the week before I started listening and I saw her the night I started listening. I have tried so hard to force life that surrender was the last option. I want to see where life takes me now. thank you

Not worth the price

The first quarter of the book was interesting. The rest was just, hoping hed back on track.

Kept going on about his pony tail and shirt. What does spirituality have to do with a hair do or shirt. You can be spiritual without a pony tail and wear a suit all at the same time.
