The stories are ok. The reader is not my cup of tea. I don't like hearing the reader breathing between words and her accent felt confusing.

I received a free code for this book.
The stories were very pleasant, and easy to listen to while i am working. I enjoyed the South African setting.
I found the narrator's voice really did not match the teller of the stories, seemed way too old and somehow the accent just did not work.

Cece started out meekly finding her way in the world and doing some good along the way. With each book she became more and more brazen and at times very pushy and forceful. The added romance element was okay, but I came for the mystery not the romance (though it was clean).
The stories seemed to fall into a similar expected pattern which became a bit redundant. Mrs. Owen bothered me. She was that nosey neighbor always sticking her nose where it didn't belong and giving her unwanted and uneeded advice. Go knit something Mrs. Owen's and find your place!!!! Altogether an enjoyable listen. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was good.

Nice cozy mystery set!
The Sunshine Cove Cozy Mystery Series : Books 1-6 by Ava Zuma is an enjoyable set of stories featuring Celia Dube. She is a beauty consultant in South Africa who stumbles into murders and investigates the crimes. I love how Celia, her boys and the other characters grow and develop as the series proceeds. The narration by Dini Steyn is wonderful. The characters come to life!

Everything about the books are irritating!
Performance is agitating and I found myself getting very frustrated with the characters and the stories - I really wanted to like the books which is why I listened to all stories before making my opinion. However, I got more and more irritated as I continued to listen. I would not refer or suggest these books to anyone.

I'm sorry but the reader ended it for me
This might be a good story to read but the narrator's voice inflection didn't seem to understand punctuation. It was read in almost a sing song way that didn't pause in the right places and often sounded like English was not her first language. I really wanted to like the story but couldn't get past the irritating audio to go further than the first chapter.
