Publisher's Summary

The Baxter sisters come from a long line of women with disastrous luck in love. But this summer, Sunshine and Margot will turn disasters into destiny....

As an etiquette coach, Margot teaches her clients to fit in. But she’s never faced a client like Bianca, an aging movie star who gained fame - and notoriety - through a campaign of shock and awe. Schooling Bianca on the fine art of behaving like a proper diplomat’s wife requires intensive lessons, forcing Margot to move into the monastery turned mansion owned by the actress’s intensely private son. Like his incredible home, Alec’s stony exterior hides secret depths Margot would love to explore. But will he trust her enough to let her in?

Sunshine has always been the good-time sister, abandoning jobs to chase after guys who used her and then threw her away. No more. She refuses to be “that girl” again. This time, she’ll finish college, dedicate herself to her job as a nanny, and she 100 percent will not screw up her life again by falling for the wrong guy. Especially not the tempting single dad who also happens to be her boss.

Master storyteller Susan Mallery weaves threads of family drama, humor, romance, and a wish-you-were-there setting into one of the most satisfying audiobooks of the year!

And don’t miss the newest heartfelt tale of friendship and sisterhood from Susan Mallery, The Stepsisters!

Not One of Susan Mallery's Best

Susan Mallery is usually an author that I can depend on for a great read. While the storyline was good and I enjoyed this book, I was sorely disappointed with some of the graphic language and explicit sexual content. There are numerous authors to choose from if you're looking for that but so few if you're not. Great authors can write great stories without going down that road. I'll give her another chance but if this is what I can expect in the future, then I'm sorry to say I'll have to pass.

Good book but it has Frank Sex

I liked the storyline but how can Briana drop her dress while naked and be a hero, There is phone sex. Thr fraternal twins were raised by their grandmother. They are looking for love and relationships but they are sidetracked by the wrong men. Margot is going in and out with one man who is bad for her. Now she is determined she needs to stay away from him. Sunshine takes a job as a nanny and goes to college trying to change her life. This book has good believable characters and the narration keeps your interest.

Oops SHE did it again....

I wasn’t sure about the book. I love, love, LOVE romance. I needed a new book to listen to. I LOVE Susan Mallery and Tanya Eby but 2 romances in 1 book. I was just weary. I am so glad I took the plunge. One of my favs. You did it again, Susan Mallery.

Story kind good. But ....

I did not care for the narrator at all. Her delivery sounded like she was mechanical.

Good story, predictable. Could not STAND the narrator!

This was a good, summer read. I enjoyed hearing about Sunshine and Margot. I almost had to stop listening because of the narration. Oh my GOSH was it awful. I will never listen to another book narrated by Tanya Eby.

Awful narration

I enjoyed the story, however the narration was so awkward and stilted, I felt like Siri was reading me the book. I will never listen to another story narrated by Tanya Eby.

Delightful

Was a refreshing summer read. Held my attention and kept me wanting more. No major dilemmas to cause stress, just delightful.

Entertaining But Not Realistic

The book was entertaining but at the same time not realistic. A little too sappy for me.
