Redo needed

Rody McDowell is not a very good book reader and the recording is lower quality than is now routine. The book is pretty good Sheldon.

The audio is mushy

It's a good story. The recording is mushy sounding. It's not because of Roddy McDowall. It's a poor quality recording.

Good story but the narration was monotone.

How could the performance have been better?

Different dialects/voices for the characters. It was difficult to understand where one character ended and another began.
