One of Buzzfeed's 20 Most Anticipated Thrillers of 2023

"The latest twisty pageturner from the brilliant Sally Hepworth. Masterfully designed to keep readers on the edge of their seats and wanting more, The Soulmate examines love and loyalty, and how far we're willing to go for the sake of family. I devoured this book!"—Mary Kubica, New York Times bestselling author of Local Woman Missing

"[A] twisty psychological thriller... Fans of domestic suspense will be satisfied."—Publishers Weekly

Editorial Review

All in the family
I believe in family. Yes, the drama can be pretty annoying, but that’s why there’s Sally Hepworth. She knows what to do when it comes to domestic drama. Her stories satisfy my curiosity about families. They’re so rich with problems, personalities, and in Sally’s world—murder. In this thriller, we become observers of two couples: Pippa and Gabe, middle class and happy in their quaint house near a cliff in a coastal Australian town; the other, Amanda and Max, wealthy and enjoying their highfalutin lifestyle, it seems. The two couples have more in common than they need to know. But I really cared about them and their issues, such as bipolar disorder. I’ve seen that up close, but that’s no reason to hurt someone else. (How about that for a clue?) Narrators Barrie Kreinik and Jessica Douglas-Henry are terrific—their performances are addictive and dare you to pull out your earbuds. —Yvonne D., Audible Editor

Just okay

Performance was good. I felt like it was hard at times to tell the difference if I was with Amanda or Pippa if I missed the chapter headline.

The story was boring and dull. I didn’t like how she blamed herself for everything and just accepted and almost enabled it like it was NBD.

I liked thé ended but i felt it came on a bit fast.

Pretty good , english accents were a nice change

I liked it. Some twists but somewhat predictable. The English dialogue was nice. The male characters had male voices it seems which I line instead of females trying to sound like males
