Excellent story and novel worth the read

This is the first Audible book I've read by this author. I throughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

I loved how different the story line is that I had expected. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Wonderful job by one of my favorite authors.

Loved it!

This book is well written. The characters are well developed in the ones that matter, but there are so many more stories to be told from this little community. This tale is unique from most period pieces, it's not overly depressing, or sickly sweet in it's telling but you feel the harshness of life and the joy of God's blessings. I will seek this author in the future and I look forward to seeing what she comes up with next. This narrator is also one of my favorites.

Characters draw you in and keep you interested

I simply loved this book! The author does an excellent job of creating characters that draw you into their lives. You feel their happiness and their sorrows. I can’t wait to read other books by this author!
