I highly recommend for children of all ages.

This very short fairy tale is perfect for a quick bedtime story. The narration is pleasantly done in a calm tone. My granddaughter not only loves this story, but doesn't take long to nod off after listening. I was given a free copy of this book at my request and have voluntarily decided to leave this review.

Short and sweet

This is a standard version of the sleeping beauty story. The narration was good enough but the tale didn't leave the narration much room to shine. The story isn't particularly dramatic nor are there very many voices. My kids seemed to enjoy it though.

Classic fairy tale

Solid narration of an old favorite, with just enough differences from the Disney version to hold kids' interest. Just the thing for bedtime or long car trips.

A classic told just for the kiddies

This is a quick and happy throughout version of the story many of us know and love. It is tailor-made for a younger audience and they should eat it up. There is nothing quite like fairy tales to capture the imagination of young children, and this will do just that. If I had any complaints it would be on the production side of things. Either in the post-production or with maybe a slightly better setup you could get rid of some of the background noise and sometimes audible breathing. Other than that the narration was good and fit the vibe well.

The story as you’ve never heard it.

Whether you are here because you heard Jordan Peterson’s analysis of the themes woven through this story or you are just interested in encountering these old stories that were censored beyond recognition in our childhood, here is the paydirt! This series is excellent and the narrator knows just how it needs to be delivered. Awesome content!

Kids loved it!!!

Everyone should know the story so my review is about the narrator.

He did a great job in engaging the listener to be attentive to the retelling of a great story. My kids managed to sit there the whole time to listen and was thoroughly impressed with he story. Great job Clive.

Short and Sweet, Perfect for Bed Time

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Clive Johnson wrote and narrates this version of Sleeping Beauty. He has a polite, soothing voice that narrates a version of the tale that hits most of the familiar plot points. The one big change he makes from the most popular versions of the story are the elimination of fairies (instead using Wise Men and Women) and sanitizing the relationship between the Prince and the Princess from the original tellings of the tale in order to make it kid friendly.

His recording does have a little bit of an echo but otherwise this is a short and sweet story you can listen to or share with your children.

Sweet short story

This is a sweet narration of the classic story of Sleeping Beauty. I loved the imagery of the frozen castle, I thought that was really well done. It's a perfect short story for bedtime, and I enjoyed the narration, the recording was well done. I requested a copy of the audiobook, and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.
