Book 5 of the series

Every family should have a Daphne. Good books but do listen in order. You'll be so confused if you don't. AND you must have all the books. Each ends with a "to be continued" type ending.

Pretty much my 12 year old's favorite series

This was my 12 year old's favorite series while it lasted. He devoured the books and they made a lot of travel pass quickly. This one was a particular favorite. If you have kids this age, I would definitely check out this series! I enjoyed listening too as an adult.

Hilariously delightful

I laughed right out loud several times at the creative links with fairy tales. I guess this is probably a kid's book but it was a fun book to listen to.

We listen more than once enthalled and amused

What did you love best about The Sisters Grimm?

The adventures continue, and each episode contains mini stories of virtue impetuousness and delight. The introduction to the Brothers Grimm through this series makes it easier to have my now 2nd grader engaged! The notion of time and the development between two of the characters generates incredulous chuckles in the evening.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Sisters Grimm?

Puck's declaration of his marital status

What about L. J. Ganser’s performance did you like?

Grandma Relda is so endearing and diplomatic

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Mr Canis redirects the children about what are the concerns of parents and not of the kids. there are times when children filter parental concerns a bit too deeply and this provides a teachable moment platform.

What did you like best about this story?

Without given anything away, the part of the "dimensions" was great!Hard to do, but well done.

Which scene was your favorite?

Oh, so many + I don't want to give anything away. The Beatles was cute, lol

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely!

Any additional comments?

You will not regret buying this book. The gang as usual were amazing;
Puck is one of my fav! The story keeps getting better and better.
Like how Sabrina solved the case.
At the very end, I thought it was going to be another character (Red Hand Group) so first I was shocked, then I thought about it and it just makes sense why.Great Story and Narrator.Love it, love it, love it!

Not just for kids

What did you love best about The Sisters Grimm?

I love these books. They are pure fun and can be enjoyed by adults too. They are brought to life by L. J. Ganser who does a wonderful job creating so many different characters that you know who the character is as soon as you hear their "voice". Each book contains a mystery that needs to be solved while furthering along an overall story of the Sisters Grimm. There were many laugh out loud moments that are signature to this series, and the idea of bringing together so many fairy tale characters from my youth and weaving a series of entertaining stories involving them all is really brilliantly done.

What does L. J. Ganser bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

all the voices and accents. he pulls you into the story from the first sentence.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes, and i wanted to listen to it again and i will.

Any additional comments?

i recommend this series to anyone looking for an entertaining, lighthearted escape from their everyday life.
