Publisher's Summary

Professional life in the City of London is tough going, which is why my husband Gabe and I live by the motto work hard and play hard. So when something, or rather someone, comes along that changes how he wants to play I'm intrigued by our sexy new game.

But there's always private sides to the ones you love, and in this case new thoughts and desires are stealing Gabe's dreams. It's not until I meet Brent - gorgeous and sophisticated yet soul-achingly alone - that I begin to understand the complex layers of Gabe's needs and exactly what I have to do.

But I'm not afraid; in fact the idea of two men turns me the hell on. In a whirlwind of romance, fear, desire, and a new cresting wave of passion we open up to each other, testing the water for one weekend only. Or is it? Will we ever be the same again? Can Gabe and I survive our decision to let a third into our bed? Can Brent just walk away and, more importantly, will we let him?

British Threesome

My first impression was that the British narrators were mediocre, especially the male voices. The men sounded too soft, not like sexy hunks.

The main female character (mid 30s) was strong and smart, a nice change from the wimpy young women who seem to be so popular in books lately. However I found it unbelievable that she instantly accepted her husband of 10 years (Gabe) sudden interest in a man.

Brent, the other man, was interesting and sweet and together the men treated her with respect, with no domination or violence.

Mixed emotions..

While I enjoy a ménage story on occasion, this audiobook story was a little odd to me, in that two of the characters were an established long married couple who invite another man to their relationship. Also, there were some scenes with sex toys that were graphic and didn’t add to my enjoyment of the story. One’ll, I jut couldn’t connect emotionally at all to this book. Narration was well done.

Poly loving

Nice and easy to listen to book. Didn't like the voice of Gabe (not a bad reader, just not right for this style of book) but fortunately it was only the first 1/2 hour or so. The majority of the book is narrated by Bridie Lawrence, which is why I listened to the book in the first place. The voice of Brent was a bit too American but easy to listen to, again in the last 15 or so minutes. The story line itself was very strongly based on the threesome element with a back story of their careers, life etc. X scenes good, heavy on the male on male stuff. Not a bad listen.
