THE SILENT ONES

This is what I want in a Mystery, Detective, Police Procedural, Suspense, wemon sleuths, e.t.c. Book. I absolutely love this style of mystery books. The police work keeps you wrapped up in the story. Its written great. Im not totally crazy about the paranormal, supernatural part but its fine. Rachel with help from Pete are trying to catch a serial killer. I liked how they had run ins with a sheriff named Pine. This book kept me wrapped up in every sentence. I highly recommend trying this. Romana Master does a great job narrating this book.

Narration was well done. kept me interested and there were a few twists I never saw coming.

I would recommend it

I was given this book for free from audiobook boom and asked to leave an unbiased review for the author and narrator. Good story and I thought it was well written other than a couple inconsistencies. Attention to detail Mr. Donovan or get a new proofreader. Pine and Harroway look through the truck and find the picture. “Pine had already pulled out his pistol and was heading towards Lionel” shouting on your knees, then “Pine drew his pistol” how can he draw his pistol when his pistol was already in his hand? I definitely would have preferred it to be longer since it is a serial killer story it could have been a lot longer. I really did like the premise of the story though and would have used a credit on it. I’ll also be listening to the other books written about Rachel Harroway by Mr. Donovan. I would recommend it. I thought the narrator was pretty good. She could work on her various character voices though, make them more different.

Heart-pounding

Held my attention throughout. Unfortunately they summed everything in the last 3 minutes that left me hanging after all of the buildup.

Ramona Masters did a good job narrating.
