North of Great and South of Fantastic

There isn’t much I would like to say beyond the Publisher’s Summary. In my opinion, it would give away too much of the story. Therefore I have confined myself to four things. First, the story was easy to follow and not once did my imagination say, "Well, that’s insane or completely impossible." Secondly, this is not an angst driven love story, Thank Goodness, because it easily could have been. Thirdly, if there is a question left unanswered, it wasn’t important enough for me to remember. And lastly, I am glad the author didn’t fall into the “black hole of trilogies” even though this story could have been stretched out with pointless facts into one. And as far as the narration goes, it wasn’t the best in the world. But I gave it five stars instead of three because I admire someone for stepping out of their comfort zone to achieve a goal, as I believe this author did. I sincerely hope there are more audiobooks from her to follow.

Fantastic

Loved the story line and love the narrator. Enough said!! Hope this writer comes out with a even better one, although it’s probably hard but I will be watching.

This book simply doesn't work. <br />

Rather obvious this book was originally written for two male characters. I never once got the impression the main characters were women. Narration was stilted and emotionless, as if she was reading a cookbook. The story was good but it doesn't work because I could only see the the two main characters as a male. This book needs an almost complete rewrite. Yes, I struggled to finish it. A major struggle.
