Oldie but good

I loved Victoria Holt novels as a teenager, and this was one of my favorites. The audible version is perfection. Lovely narration does justice to this wonderful romantic novel.

Wow. Am so glad Audible has finally placed her

Beginning was different than I envisioned. Since I can usually figure out a book within two to three chapters, this one had me good. It is her very METHOD OF STORY TELLING that intrigues me. She would have made Alfred Hitchcock a great wife. So grateful to find her here on Audible. As famous lines go, "Please Sir, I want some more!"

Fell in love with the characters...and the story.

I read the paperback version of this book many many years ago and have never forgotten the story or the characters. It's the kind of story that pulls the reader/listener into the story. Just as when I first read the book, I couldn't stop. I'm an avid reader, but few other books have made me feel as this one has. Linx is all-consuming.....even to me, the reader/listener.

Definately a fan of Ms. Holt. This book doesn't quite follow her usual formula but enjoyable nonetheless.

What about Virginia Leishman’s performance did you like?

Perfect accent and reading speed - is still intelligible at faster speeds.

Definitely worth your money and attention

I have to admit that I wasn't sure who the culprit(s) were in this story or where it was going. It was a very good mystery and an interesting story. I enjoyed it.

Wonderful writer

What did you love best about The Shadow of the Lynx?

I love Victoria Holt books and have read all that has been printed. I wished that more were on audio because I have truly enjoyed listening to them again. She is also know as Phillippa A Carr. I have not checked for any audio under this name as yet. I am unable to read comfortably so getting to listen has been a wonderful experience for me for I missed reading so very much. As far as what I loved best, I love all of her story lines equally.

No one writes like Victoria Holt . I LOVE every story she has ever written . The Shadow of the Lynx is no exception . I highly recommend . I am hoping audible will get more of ner books .

Absolutely enjoyed everything about the storyline and performance. How I wish audible had all of her books and not just in swedish.
