Kept me entertained

I read about this book and author in a local CT shoreline newspaper. Was interesting to me that the setting was in all towns familiar to me. Good story line about some powerful violent men and how difficult it is for abused women to get away from their violence. Performances were good too.

Predictable, But Not the Worst

The story started off well and had some potential but then started to drag. What made it worse is that few can relate to a handful of families in Connecticut so rich they have nothing better to do. It’s not the worst story but had much more potential.

It can be intense. It is difficult to put down worth your time one will not regret reading/listening to this story

What a great novella, with a twist. The author was able to pull in many characters and plots to make for a great read.
