It's the reason I am who I am with my kids, and why I feel the need to share this technique that has worked for me with parents who might be experiencing some difficulties. It's not meant to chastise or turn judge, jury, and executioner because let's be frank, no one has it down to the tees. No matter how many handbooks, magazines, or manuals you read or listen to, parenting isn't a one-shoe-fit-all job.
