This folklore retelling was cute and sweet.

I got this audiobook via a promo code and this is my voluntary review.

I really enjoyed the book, my neice 7 years old, is obsessed with myths and folklore, so we have been having bedtime stories of diverse folklore from all over the world this month for her sleepovers. With the extra benefit of a humorous representation of the seven gods of luck, I really loved learning about this specific new year's tradition of the Japanese people.

I normally dont enjoy author narrated content but this wasn't too bad. David Kudler did a good job.
