Do not miss this installment!!

This was the perfect follow up story for the next in the series! I was up all night trying to find out what was going to happen next! I loved getting to know Felicia! And Eva Kaminsky’s talents for these characters and story-telling are spot on! I seldom write reviews for audible books. But I found this one quite enjoyable and the story outstanding! Love this series from Charlaine Harris! I hope there is another one!

the narrator did a wonderful job. I loved all of the accents and could tell one character from another.

I couldn't stop listening!

A great story line. I look forward to more. Eva told the story wonderfully.

An enjoyable twist

I was pleasantly surprised that this book focused on Felicia. It brought a fresh breath to the series. While I missed Lizbeth and Eli and still want to know about their new life together, it was great learning more about their families. This one went fast. I was super engaged.

I love Eve’s narration. Only downside was there was some obvious voiceover corrections that were a tad annoying and pulled you out of the moment.

Another Winner in a Fantastic Series!

I always feel like these end too soon. Great characters, great story, and excellent delivery.

Great story

I really enjoyed this audio book. The narrator did an excellent job. She is my favorite!! I hope Chaplains Harris continues with this series. All 4 books & audio books are excellent.

Captivating

I can’t wait for the story to go on. Couldn’t stop listening. I was reading another book and stopped listening to that one to listen to this one.

Charlene Harris never disappoints

I love this series and I very much enjoyed this book. I wasn't sure at first about the switch from Gunnie Rose to Felicia but It was fun seeing Felicia develop from an obnoxious little girl to a strong and intelligent young woman. The other characters are varied and interesting and their world continues to fascinate me.

Eva Kaminsky did another remarkable job! Everything about her voice and her ability to make so many characters distinct and identifiable added to my enjoyment. I hope there are more books in the Gunnie Rose universe.

I enjoyed this book very much

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series...
I Had a little preparation going into this book after having read the jacket. That's the main character gunny was not going to appear in this book. Because I've seen a lot of book series go Arire when they start changing the main character.
but the author did a very good job and I thoroughly enjoyed the character development of what had been a Side character.
Of the many series I am Reading as they come out this is one of my favorite.

Having trouble getting through

This book isn’t as compelling as the previous in the series. It’s from a different POV and I have so far not cared what’s going on. Half way through and I keep looking for something else to read…
