From USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-selling author Tracy Lorraine comes a new standalone dark MFM college romance.

As a teenager, my naive heart beat for two boys....

Two unattainable, older, forbidden boys. The kind of boys mothers warn their daughters about.

Tristan was the guy everyone wanted...but he was also my older brother's best friend. Smart, kind, and hot as hell, with a one-way ticket straight to the NFL.

And then there was Knox...my bad-boy stepbrother. Only a year older, he made me feel like it was just a silly crush until the first time he kissed me.

The hot, soon-to-be-inked-up gangster from the wrong part of town broke every rule, and shattered hearts.... I just never expected one of them to be mine.

All these years later, I can barely remember the shy girl I was back then, back before Knox Bowman burned me.

Now I'm a junior at Maddison Kings University, and they just walked back into my life, throwing my world into a tailspin. Tristan is there for me when things go up in smoke. And Knox is there striking matches, tempting me like a ghost in the night with his darkness.

But I'm all grown up now and I'm ready to go after what I want.

And my damaged heart still wants them both.

Things are different now though.

They're lying to me...and the secrets about my past have the power to tear my heart in two.

This is an odd review because I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I found it because I was searching for a new DUET narration. And this was a random title I stumbled across. This was the first book I’ve read of hers and I’m now a fan. I know duet narration is more expensive for authors. But just know I found this book and chose this book solely from the narration style. And now I’m a new fan of this author because of this. As far as the book. It was great. I was never bored. Great spice. Perfect narration. I liked the characters. I liked pacing. I liked the story. I’m interested in listening to more of her books. :)

DUET narration is when the male narrator speaks ONLY the male voices. And the female narrator speaks ONLY the female parts :) it amazing narration

DUET (not DUAL) Narration with 3 great narrators :)

The Secrets You Keep by Tracy Lorraine is a dark MFM college romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stella Hunter, J.F. Harding, and Jason Clarke.

I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Tristan, Knox, and Violet. The chemistry between them was off the charts! I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Stella Hunter, J.F. Harding, and Jason Clarke did an amazing job on the narration. They really brought this story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like MFM romances, college romances, forbidden romances, second chance romances, or contemporary romance.

I love why choose/reverse harem...all day, yes, please. But this main female character, nope, she's a skank wh*re who doesn't deserve Tristan. He should have dumped her dumba***, end of story, bc she's a bi*ch. Couldn't get on her side. She didn't deserve them both, Tristan was always there for her, but he omits a peice of info for like maybe 2 days, and she acts like he's terrible and needs to grovel to her, yet she forgives Knox who doesn't contact her for 5 years and let's her believe he murdered her mother, but forgave him the next day, jumping into bed with him. Tristan deserved a much better woman than her, he was there for her for all 5 years, but she made HIM work for her forgiveness. Author did a terrible job of making this work for me. stupid. i hate Violet. she's a whiny little hypocritical baby that only cares about wearing hardly any clothes and looking hot. I literally can't stand her.

it was good

**Audiobook Review**
So there's a lot going on in this story. You've got a contemporary base with multiple situations: brother's best friend, stepbrother (taboo), menage (MFM), college, dark, spice, and flashbacks.

Performed in duet by Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, and J.F. Harding, what's not to love; you know that you're going to get an amazing performance. Since Stella does all the female voices, I appreciated that she made Violet's (heroine) voice a little more high pitched when she had flashbacks.

This author is new to me, and it was the cast that helped me make my decision when requesting this advance from Audibly Addicted. It's a solid story, maybe a little long for what it is (some of it felt really repetitive in the beginning), but I really like how the author wrote Violet's story. She's had some trauma, but she wasn't a winey heroine; her angst was well balanced. The heroes, Tristan and Know, who are former friends, are distinctively different personality wise. The spicy scenes were great, but sometimes I lost track of where limbs were, but that that dirty talk, yum. While I was able to predict a lot of the outcomes, how they played out weren't what I expected as all. If I read this book, it would have been a 3 star rating due some continuity issues I found. With that said, I plan to check out other works by this author.

The secrets of the past have a way of coming back to haunt you and just when Violet starts to get comfortable in the new life, she has built that is exactly what happens. She loves her brother's best friend, but her heart was owned by another once before and now that he is back how is she supposed to choose...

Tristan was the jock we have all read and can't help but love. Injured in the NFL he is back home and to start his life anew and while he could have gone anywhere, he ended up back home because of her. Violet has always owned his heart even when she didn't know she did, but he made a promise to keep her safe and that is what he plans to do. Taking her to bed isn't in those plans but he can't resist her any longer and right when he is getting comfortable in this new turn of events Knox shows up causing problems like the bad boy he is.

Knox has been in prison for five years but now he is out, and his only focus is Violet. All those years ago he never wanted to let her go but he had no choice. Now, there is nothing that could possibly stand in his way of getting the woman he loves except for maybe the other man she loves who also happens to be one of his best friends.

As Violet, Knox and Tristan try to work at happiness secrets from the past start rearing their ugly head and if Knox was innocent who could possibly be the one to blame for her mother's death.

Jason Clarke captivated me as Tristan with his dark and delicious growls. Jason Clarke is always a must listen narrator for me but with the possessiveness you could he radiating out of his voice was next level hot. J.F. Harding as Knox was the dark bad boy every girl can't help but resist. His flirty and fun banter really brought some light to the darker moments of the story and Stella Hunter that woman is a true gem. She always carries the female narrations with some grace that you are swooning just as hard for her as you are for the other narrators.

By the end of this book, I was totally swoony for this family that Violet, Knox, and Tristan had created but more than anything I was jealous of Violet getting the best of both worlds with the hot jock and delicious bad boy.

Adored this book!

This story is good, hot, makes you want to know more. The only problem I have is that Tristan’s narrator has a weird whistle with his ‘S’ … kinda like the gopher on Whinny the Pooh . If you can get past that then great book.

Good story- Tristan narration meh

this book is so good! every minute is worth it. these narrators are absolutely the best in any book they read together. it's a Duet style, and the details are chefs kiss

Spicy, good banter, sexy!

It was decent but I didn’t like how Tristan was treated most in the story. Knox had her first, he left, she got with Tristian said she loved him, Knox came back and she slept with him not soon after. Didn’t give Tristan a choice. Knox was mean to him for most of the story and Knox got the most time with her. So basically Tristian felt like an addition to her and Knox’s relationship. Didn’t set well with me
