Publisher's Summary

Altaïr embarks on a formidable mission - one that takes him throughout the Holy Land and shows him the true meaning of the Assassin's Creed. To demonstrate his commitment, Altaïr must defeat nine deadly enemies, including Templar leader Robert de Sablé. Here, for the first time, Niccolò Polo, father of Marco, shares Altaïr's remarkable story: his ongoing battle with the Templar conspiracy; a family life that is as tragic as it is shocking; the betrayal of an old friend; and a journey that will ultimately change the course of history.

Amazing!

I'm a long time fan of the franchise and I am amazed at how closely the books fallowed the game! I also loved how it covered altiairs life. there were a few things left out that Revelations (the game) covered that were not included completely in the book, but no big deal. overall, I highly recommend it!

For Assassin Creed Lovers

What made the experience of listening to The Secret Crusade the most enjoyable?

This is based on the game, and the game is a fantastic story, thrilling to play. The problem with the book is at many points it seems to summarize rather than tell a story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Secret Crusade?

Altaïr learns the his Master's secret.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narrator could have used a little more drama, acting in his storytelling.

If you could take any character from The Secret Crusade out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Altaïr

Any additional comments?

Great plot.

Amazing Story, Good Narrator~

The story is great! (I LOVE it!) The narrator reads really well too. Although, sometimes his voice sounds a bit robotic...

Wonderful

The narrator at times sounded as skilled and epic as Tim Curry! The book sweeps you into the shadows of secrecy greater than the legends of the CIA!

A great historical fiction

Gildart Jackson weaves a richly textured historical fiction that is the 2nd installment of Assassin's Creed : The Secret Crusade. Characters are wonderfully developed as is the plot. Thank you for a great story.

Worth the price.

This is a well read book based off a game. I would recommend it to you as I will recommend it to my friends, the narrative feels like an assassin would have read it to you & the story has your interest peaked.
