Maybe if I was reading the book, instead of listening to it, I would’ve liked it more…

The narrator, who is the author himself, was making strange pauses unrelated to the text, which I found extremely annoying. I can’t think of a reason why a professional actor wasn’t trusted with the reading of the book - everything fell flat, which didn’t do much for the story.
