When Ceit and her troop of patrollers join with Brin to defend against invaders, the pull between them is undeniable. Ceit, so full of passion and courage, is the partner Brin never knew he wanted. As they battle their way through the Highlands, Brin shows Ceit that life has more in store for her, even a life off the battlefield, that is beyond even her wildest dreams.

Favorite families

I never tire of Grants and extended families. Loved this one too. Took me a few minutes to connect all characters but so quickly made the connections. I am assuming more is to come.

It is so much fun to follow the Grants, Ramsays, Camerons et al! I love how they all intertwine with one another! I feel like part of the family when reading and seem to have a smile on my face as l follow the story with all the banter and love that goes on!!! Absolutely loved this one!
