Publisher's summary

An enemies-to-lovers historical romantic suspense tale full of secrets and lies.

Can two enemies learn to trust each other enough to survive a deadly game of secrets and lies?

Reyna Matheson patrols the Borderlands with her clansmen, keeping an eye on the English soldiers who have brought so much pain to her people and her clan. As granddaughter to the legendary Gwyneth Ramsay and daughter to the laird of the clan on Black Isle, she’s a fierce and passionate warrior intent on protecting her people and avenging her sweet cousin’s abduction.

Captain Wulfstan de Gray has crafted his reputation as a fierce and unforgiving commander of the English garrison. Very few know the truth about the man behind the legend, and Wulf intends to keep it that way. But when he crosses paths with the headstrong Reyna, he is suddenly cast down a new path, one that forces him to question everything.

A harrowing journey of revenge and rescue will bring this unlikely couple along a trail of secrets, lies, and enemies who threaten them at every turn. Can they learn to trust one another long enough to survive their mission? And will the passions that burn between them be their downfall, or their bond?

Second book and series is better than first

still not a fan of narrator, Paul Woodson, but the storyline for this book kept you engaged to the very end, and was a huge improvement over the first book. I’m glad I tried the second book and I am going to continue to the third book.

Enjoyed this story!

I really enjoyed the second book, it was over too fast. It's been fun following the various stories of each family member.
I love Keira Montclair's writing style, I've read most of her books. Looking forward to the next book.

A Fabulous Read!

I loved this story and can’t wait for more! Keira Montclair has done some of her finest work with the Scot’s Traitor. I didn’t think there could be a better story than the one of Alex Grant but she proved me wrong with this one. It is a gripping tale that has the right amount of intrigue, drama, romance, and family love. I already know that I will read this again and probably many more times. It deserves more than 5 stars! Well done Keira!

Waiting for next….

I love the way these books make you feel like you are right there with Wolf. Since the ending is a ‘cliff hanger’ I will anxiously await the next installment
