Great Story and Narration

I loved these characters when I read the book and listening to them come alive through Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro only added to my love of Devyn and Larsen.

Devyn is the typical child actor grown up and gone astray. Problems with parents, drugs, alcohol - all of it. When he needs to get away he takes off driving and ends up on a little town in the middle of nowhere.

Larsen is fighting her own demons, but trying to move her life forward. Taking college classes as she can and helping her uncle through his own heartbreak.

They never expected to be what each other needed. It was supposed to be a fling.

This book is so much more than what it appears to be. Some will see a simple love story, but if you let it, it will resonate deep inside to that spot we all want to have filled with that one person that makes us complete.

Amazing

I have listened to a few books lately and I have to say I am starting to love listening to books more and more. The emotions that you get from the characters is outstanding. Renee you have out done your self with this one and now I have to go back and get the other ones. I need to listen to them. The story is amazing and well done. Tessa needs a story...

Tim Paige where have you been my whole life!?

Goodness!! This was my second title that I have listened to narrated by Tim Paige and now I freaking love him. This role was so great for him and I saw a lot more range than the other title that I had listened to. That man sure knows how to say a certain 4-letter word that starts with F. This book was great, I loved the depth of characters and their rise to overcome their backgrounds. Kelsey is such a professional and one of my favorite female narrators. Paired with Tim...it was just out of this world. I need more of these two STAT!!!

I absolutely adored Larsen and Devin. I loved their chemistry from the get go!

This book was so well written and narrated. I love audio books because it really brings more feeling into the story and i think if i read this first, i wouldn't have felt any of the emotions properly.

Good story

Great characters with a story to tell. The book had me interested from beginning to the end. Narration Is good.

Definitely worth the listen!

I really loved this story. It flowed perfectly. Devyn is this pained by his past man who's sprung with an opportunity to change everything for what he truly believes that he wants. Then comes Larsen, sweet, small town girl with hopes and dreams to overcome the tragedy of her past. She struggles with her self-esteem and worth. Devyn and Larsen meet by chance and then starts the roller coaster of emotions of their journey together. Can they survive it? I sure loved finding out what happens and I know you will too!

Great story

This is the first book that I have listen to from this author and I was very impressed with it. At first glance it might seem like it’s just a Hollywood romance story but there are a lot more layers to it. Both narrators did an incredible job and I look forward to finding more books from them.

Fabulous book

I loved listening to this book. Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro brought the characters to life and I could feel their pain. This book has it all--romance, chemistry, heartbreak and angst, suspense, and a HEA. I highly recommend listening (and reading) it.

Beauty Within Vs. Beauty On the Outside

I initially read this book when it was 1st released, and I'll admit that I was leary of listening to it on Audible. I feared that the Narrators wouldn’t live up to the characters I heard in my head. I was wrong! Tim Paige & Kelsey Navarro did an Amazing Job. They each made me fall back in love with the characters.

WOW … Be prepared to embark on an Emotional Rollercoaster (Sign of a Talented Author if they can bring the reader to ‘feel’ not just read emotions.)

Devyn & Larsen are two people who desperately struggle with their own issues and pasts. They are a bit of a Ying & Yang …. Initially, you may see Devyn as being weak & Larson as being strong, but really they both equally embody these traits. Being a famous actor Devyn is always in the spotlight & can never fully trust anyone’s motives. He’s also never really seen as anything more than eye candy. Larsen has the physical scars that mirror her internal ones. Few ever get close to who she is beyond her marred skin.
In the confines of a small town where his car breaks down, they meet and with each other, they can not only let their guards down and be themselves freely without judgment, they’re also able to be what the other one has been missing. They don’t just complement each other – they complete each other!

But as one can imagine, a small-town girl isn’t very equipped to deal with the press or rather paparazzi that comes along with dating a Hollywood star. And as someone trying to regain his place back on the Hollywood Sign, Devyn, struggles to put someone else’s needs above his own desire to be back on the “It List” of who’s who in Hollywood.

I hope I’ve intrigued you to see if they get their Happily Ever After.

I really enjoyed this book. Well written with a perfect combination of broken, charm, romance & drama!!
The narration was absolutely amazing!! Tim Paige, Kelsey Navarro & Renee Harless are a great combination. I highly recommend this book!
