Publisher's summary

Book three in the Stanley Pargo in Suburbia series.

Now trapped in the terrible world of Suburbia, Stanley Pargo is faced with a difficult choice: go his own way and face the beasts of the wilderness alone, or join a small cohort fighting to destroy a brutal monster known as the Chumbley.

Both options all but guarantee Stanley’s untimely demise, and neither offers him the home he truly seeks, but if he doesn’t decide soon, the Chumbley will obtain a powerful stone capable of annihilating all who might thwart him.

And if that happens, the Chumbley will exact his revenge, and there will be no world and no home left for Stanley to find.

These books are vastly underrated

These books are so lovely! A Teacher friend of mine had her class read the first book of the series as assigned reading and her students loved it so I figured I'd give it a shot. The storyline is unique and captivating and the interaction between the main and secondary characters makes the book comical at times. They're written so articulately that despite being a middle grade series it's a very enjoyable story for all ages. Audible is the funnest way to consume these books because the narrator is awesome and plays the characters so well. This book is a quick read with plenty of plot and storyline in it. The Stanley Pargo series is in my top 5 list of favorite middle grades.

Good story

Another story of Stanly and his friends, a new place to explore and people to find. Can't wait for the next one.
