‘But what’s the point in buying three books at once?’
I was in two minds whether to raise it – but if I don’t, then it’ll be “why didn’t you say something?”
Daisy gives me that look – the one my maths teacher used to. ‘What’s the point in… are you crazy?’
She smacks an index finger in her palm. ONE – it’s cheaper. Only a wee bit, but hey – every little helps.’
‘Buying them separately spreads the cost, though.’ I couldn’t help myself
‘Look,’ she grunts, cheeks flaming. ‘If you can’t afford a fiver for three books, it’s time to renew your library membership. Sam, buying this box set will sort our weekend.’
‘Now you’ve lost me.’
‘Simple. Picture it—the box set and a coupla bottles of wine, not to mention some crisps, nuts, choccy – maybe something soothing in the background, like Rachmaninoff...’
Just then, the doorbell goes and Daisy sighs. ‘But definitely NOT Rossini...’

Great storyline

it definitely kept me guessing. the narration is a bit odd at times but not so bad that it ruined the story.

The story & twists & turns!!

The virtual voice stinks!!!! It’s hard to tell which character is speaking and at some point the virtual voice cannot translate certain text.

Good plot, pronunciation poor

The plots are good. The readers voice is pleasant but limited variation and many errors.

AI Narration is bad

Three mediocre stories made worse by AI narration. Mispronounced words, punctuation read aloud. It seems like no one edited/corrected anything.

What awful AI narration

I have been thoroughly put off from listening to what seems like a fairly decent plot and somewhat witty writing by the awful AI narration. Don’t recommend this version at all.
