Publisher's summary
Penguin presents the audiobook edition of The Rosie Result by Graeme Simsion, read by Dan O'Grady.
The Rosie Result is the triumphant final instalment of the internationally best-selling series that began with The Rosie Project.
Until 12 years ago, geneticist Don Tillman had never had a second date. Then he developed The Wife Project and met Rosie, 'the world's most incompatible woman'. Now, having survived 4,380 days of marriage, Don's life-contentment graph, recently at its highest point, is curving downwards.
Rosie has just returned to work and is struggling with an obnoxious co-worker. Don, meanwhile, is in hot water after his latest lecture goes viral. But their real worry is their son, Hudson, who is having trouble at school: his teachers say he isn't fitting in with the other kids.
For Don, learning to be a good parent as well as a good partner will require the help of friends old and new. It will mean letting Hudson make his way in the world, and grappling with difficult truths about his own identity.
It will also mean opening a cocktail bar.
Hilarious and thought-provoking, with a brilliant cast of characters, The Rosie Result will have readers cheering for joy.
Critic reviews
"Compulsively readable. A poignant, universal story about how best to reconcile head and heart." (Observer)
"Sublime, pitch-perfect, extremely funny." (Independent)
"Brilliant, important, good-hearted." (Guardian)

Brilliant
Fantastically moving and funny.
The listen had felt like an empathy exercise. The characters created by the brilliant Grame Simson are lovely and unique. They solve loads of problems (technical and interpersonal) and take care of one another in the quirkiest and most lovable ways.

A fitting finale to a wonderful trilogy
I started listening to The Rosie Project a few years ago, then The Rosie Effect and now obviously The Rosie Result. Sometimes when a trilogy spans a few years something gets lost but not with the Rosie books. Each one is brilliant in it's own right and The Rosie Result caps off this trilogy perfectly.
Dan O'Grady's narration over all the characters is spot on through all the books and he gives such life to the cast that parade through these wonderful books.
The Rosie Result is a fitting end but I will miss Don, Rosie, Hudson and the rest of the characters immensely.

A delightful trilogy
I found these vey entertaining. The first book was my favourite with a few laugh out loud moments. The other two had there moments but not topping the first. However they were engaging with likeable characters. Recommend.

Wonderful!
I loved this as much as the earlier books in the series ‘The Rosie Project’ and ‘The Rosie Effect’. They are all beautifully and intelligently written. The characters are richly drawn. Surely, everyone will love Don. I think it’s important to read the series in order where possible.
Enjoy!

Don rides again!
Loved this every bit as much as books 1 and 2, and in fact I'm now off to read them both again. I always loved the insight into the Autistic mind and the idea is expanded very nicely in this book. Narration delivered with perfection I really couldn't imagine anyone else reading Don as well as this. If you like clever plot lines, characters and unexpectedly funny moments then dive into Don he won't disappoint.

One of the most endearing characters out there
This was the last in The Rosie Project series and a great ending. I thoroughly enjoyed these books as they were original and thought provoking whilst maintaining a flow of humour through a challenging story of a potentially difficult but ultimately endearing character. I fell in love with Don Tilman, for all the right reasons, and I'm sure you will too. Give it a go

Lived this ad much as the first 2 books
The narration is excellent and the story funny and kept me engrossed. I loved the first 2 books and this was just as good. Great story and would love for there to be a 4th.

Brilliant as usual. Love all three “Rosie” books. The characters are beautifully rounded and made me smile all the way through. I’m so sad this is the last one.
