I was really into this book. But the cliffhanger ending killed it for me. I was really looking forward to the next book to tie everything together but then it dropped off. Just stopped.

I really enjoyed the whole series. Simon Vance is one of the best and narro is a great writer for epic fantasy tales. I never rate and this series compelled me to.

There’s a whole lot going on in this book. Nonstop action. But idk why I found Jon a little annoying in this one or maybe rash and arrogant are the better words. Can’t wait to start the next one. Oh yes and Simon Vance was incredible as always. It’s like these stories were meant to be narrated by only him.

Great saga
John continues to grow in power. However he can't protect everyone and win the war alone. He needs his friends and allies. The demigods have chosen sides in the conflict, but the enemy kingdom seems to have more strength. I like the action, humor, intrigue, and romance. My lord this series is great
It somehow just keeps getting better and I’m 100% already listening to the next book 😅 this is in my top 3 book series so far and I’m way to excited for the plot to continue 12/10 for everything of course I will no leave without saying Simon Vance is amazing as always
